well no **** the ball would have had more velocity on it
 
Fields is proving tuffness and competitive grit -- not to mention a pretty fine arm.
Like I said way back in this thread -- great athletes playing QB tonight.
Pretty sure the NFL is drooling over both.
 
bottom line -- such a big advantage to have a great athlete playing QB these days...
 
It depends on what the Jets think of Darnold. Whoever the new gm is.

im not so sure they are giving up on him or that they should either.

that Wilson kid at qb will probably play into all this too
 
I’m really not impressed with Lawrence tonight. It’s not going to affect his draft position....But I’m not afraid of him going to the Jags. I think Fields has cemented himself as the #2 QB but I’m not really thrilled about him as an NFL prospect.
