Dead Serious: What options do we have next year (At QB)?

You’re entitled to your opinion but you were also the guy after Tuas rookie year telling me how great he was going to be. So….. yeah
Show me that post lmao. The only thing i have ever advocated for was putting pieces around him before we threw in the towel.

Bro I’m not about to go search for a post from literally over 2 years ago but you jumped in a convo between me and Kamelion I think is his name. You literally jumped all over me talking smack.

Now we are stuck sitting and watching Doug Pederson help bring Trevor Lawrence to elite level while the nerd gives couch sessions to Tiny Tua trying to convince him he's a real man. Sad!

We could've had Pederson. We could've had real QBs like Herbert. Allen, Burrow, Lawrence, and Herbert will run the AFC for years. We're done here.
Nice looking girly man

Troll
You never advocated anything Fins related
You just troll here once a week

Oh yeah, here we are
Greg Jennings:
2006 45-632-3
2007 53-920-12
06 and 07 was BEFORE Aaron Rodgers

2008 80-1292-9
2009 68-1113-4
2010 76-1165-12
08 is when AR took over and you see the increase in production all the way around but it couldn’t possibly have been bc of the QB change right?

Minn (2013) 68-804-4
2014 59-742-6
Miami (2015) 19-208-1

Notice the drop off in production once he left a franchise QB?

Jordy Nelson:
2008 (Rookie) 33-366-2
2009 22-320-2
2010 45-582-2
So his first 3 years he was an average producer bc Greg Jennings was getting the targets.

2011 68-1263-15
2012 49-745-7
2013 85-1314-8
2014 98-1519-13
Then look what happens when he became ARs main target. A huge uptick in production.

Oakland (2018) 63-739-3
Major drop off in production from his last 2 years as the MAIN TARGET. I know he played 3 more years but he steadily dropped off from the go to guy.

Randall Cobb:
2011 (Rookie) 25-375-1
2012 80-954-8
2013 31-433-4
2014 91-1287-12
Nelson and Cobb sort of overlap here as the top 2 targets for AR and in 2014 they both went for 90+ catches and had great years.

Dallas (2019) 55-828-3
Houston (2020) 38-441-3

Once again notice the drop off after he leaves AR?

Bro look true franchise QBs elevate the guys around them. It’s like you’re arguing that the skill guys make the QB. So in that case Dan Marino is Dan Marino only bc of Duper Clayton Friar McDuffie and the other guys? Jim Kelly is only Jim Kelly bc of Eric Moulds Andre Reed and the other guys? Come on now bro. No it’s obviously a combination of both as they elevate each other in a complimentary style. But the QB gets more credit bc well he’s the QB. He’s the guy actually throwing the ball to these skill players. I’d say 60/40 to the QB.
We were arguing the difference between who elevates who and you were stubbornly pounding the table that true franchise qbs elevate the players around them. I guess thats why tryeek hill already broke his single season yard record with that hawaiin bum. Good call bro, thanks for reminding me I was right.

Please tell me how excited you are for the '23 NFL season week 1 knowing Tua is your starting QB... I'll wait
No need to wait. I'll be very excited. You guys jump ship every time any QB doesn't play a pro bowl game. He choked, it happens. I could point to several games this season where he didn't. Are those erased bc he threw 2 bad throws?(one was just a total miscommunication)

You guys just lack perspective. He was having a very efficient game up to then. We aren't ready, it's that simple. You trying to convince me that we aren't showing something we haven't seen in 2 decades this season? I don't buy that. First year head coach is changing things.

Same **** every week, "he was having a very efficient game until" *insert boneheaded turnover*. It's exhausting, move on.

It isn't only when a QB or anyone for that matter doesn't play a pro bowl game......it is actually series by series. It is kind of funny to watch.

With that said, Tua wasn't good today in the 2nd half and he deserves the criticism. Zero points in the 2nd half for a team with this much offensive capabilities is inexcusable

However, like you, I see something in this team and I'm nowhere near ready to give up on them. Shake it off and prepare for next week. Everything is still in front of us if we want it and we control our own post season destiny

Why aren’t we ready though? The line has been decent. Our WRs are literally the best in the league. The running game is serviceable. There’s no reason we shouldn’t be ready.

Anybody. I’m tired of this ****. I hate phasing the false sense that we have a legitimate QB at the helm when we don’t

Small, smart QBs usually take a few years to really hit their stride.

Brees was on his second team. Jeff Garcia spent 5 years in the CFL.

I'm not giving up on Tua, even though I was openly against drafting him. But what we are seeing is concerning... he has to play smarter, and we REALLY need more passes to our RBs with this sort of QB.

I'm not saying 'no', I'm saying... he's not elite, at least... not yet.
