Dead Serious: What options do we have next year (At QB)?

No need to wait. I'll be very excited. You guys jump ship every time any QB doesn't play a pro bowl game. He choked, it happens. I could point to several games this season where he didn't. Are those erased bc he threw 2 bad throws?(one was just a total miscommunication)

You guys just lack perspective. He was having a very efficient game up to then. We aren't ready, it's that simple. You trying to convince me that we aren't showing something we haven't seen in 2 decades this season? I don't buy that. First year head coach is changing things.
You're delusional. Tua plays well when he's playing the Lions or Bears on Sunday at 1 PM... Put him in a primetime game against the Chargers and he'll **** the bed..We've seen this over and over again

I'll be excited too. I'm all in on Tua. Will be on pin & needles until December 2023 when the playoff picture starts taking shape, no matter how much early season success the Fins and Tua has.

This season's end result may very well turn out to be ****, but I'm not going to ignore all the positive changes this year. Obviously this thread does.

I'm also not going to try to prove you doubters wrong because actual results can only do that. I am taking receipts though. Whether they're posted this season or next is the only variable.
lol Tua is trash and you know it. He can't escape the pocket and virtually no escapability, can't extend plays.. If his first couple of reads aren't open, we're screwed. No creativity in his game.

Brady on his last legs is better than Tua and give Brady Waddle and Hill he would be 100% better than Tua

Agreed! Brady has made a deal with the devil. Watching him play tonight, the Bucs suck but Brady’s arm looks like he is 30. Todd Bowels is the issue in Tampa.

What QB wants to come here when they look at our D, OL and RBs? Granted money might talk but we're low on that so hard to see a QB thinking they'll take less or whatnot because they are the missing piece. This defense blows in big games as much as Tua does.
What? lol What QB wouldn't want to come down to South Florida.. weather, lifestyle, no state income tax, best QB duo in the league, solid OL, solid RBs.. I'll say it again, best WR duo in the league and QB-friendly scheme

The thought of watching Tua FOR AN ENTIRE SEASON next year makes me sick. He's an amazing backup and a hell of a guy and I wish him the best but he has no confidence in himself and he just melted down. He can't win when it matters. He's a poor-man's Kirk Cousins and I'd take Cousins 100 times before I'd take Tua.

What are our options next year? Please walk me off the ledge

Derek Carr? - Is he really an upgrade?
Aaron Rodgers? - I'd give my left nut for a beyond-his-prime Rodgers
Tom Brady? - See above
Jimmy G? - Say what you want, but I'd take him over Tua
Lamar Jackson? - Not a chance Ravens let him walk and we dont have the $$ but it'd be nice to dream
At this point I'd be happy with Tannehill

My bad... I meant the ones who want to win a championship above all else, to be more precise.

Rodgers still wants to play but he/Love have some major friction. Somebody's gotta go next year. Packers aren't making the playoffs (they'll lose to the Vikings next week) and Rodgers will be gone. I would be ecstatic.

Rodgers still has it, he just has bad receivers. Imagine him with Hill/Waddle
Isnt there a ton of money tied to him tho? Miami also has big contracts on other players, so how would miami afford Rogers and that not effect important players contracts the following year?

Will mike be good with rogers or will he frustrate rodgers because mike doesn't seem to adjust well with schemes, then again rogers the veteran has ability to audible if need be

Due to no cap space and lack of draft picks, there is really no way to upgrade over Tua this year without completely blowing the team up
Since we have to keep Tua, do you think it;s worth drafting a qb that could fall in 2nd rd? Such qbs often aren't ready but some could have high ceiling and since we're sticking with Tua next year because miami has another year before they'd have to pay him. The rookie qb could learn and work on while Tua plays. Jalen hurts was a 2nd rd qb, drew brees too. I know it's a mixed bag. I'm wondering about if guys Anthony richardson or Hendon hooker who aren't polished but have high upside could be picked if in 2nd rd for miami. Miami has 2 third rd picks to get lbs and other needs
