Deal For Brown Picks Up Pace

I heard on Sirius NFL radio to "look for Ronnie Brown to be signed in the next couple of days"....meaning today or tomorrow......

Its his agents job... I dont blame his agent for tryin to get his client the most money he can. If he was talkin **** to our organization that would be a different story. And if Ronnie was gunna hold out half of camp... I would not like the agent... But Ronnie will be in soon, so I aint sweatin it...

I just have that guy feeling that he will sign sometime Friday afternoon. I don't expect for Brown to play in the HOF game, since he missed so much of camp.
 
i hope that he can sign TODAY cause really frances other main clients are signed, and that report said he was working through the night trying to get a deal done, that means they are trying to push this to happen now... so if ronnie can get signed today, into camp tomorrow, he could play in the HOF game... get a few carries, thats what i hope happens
 
I really wanted him in by now as i am going to be in canton for the HOF game....I doubt he will play though
 
I mentioned last week that I wouldn't worry about his contract until this coming Friday. Looks like it'll be coming in right about that time if not sooner.
 
just my 2 cents but Ronnie is not that far behind everyone else. RB is the easiest position for a rookie to step into and due to the HOF game, we have had an extra week of training camp. so in essence, in a normal offseason, he would really only have missed 3 days so far. he was already behind Gordon, Morris, Minor and Ricky in terms of NFL training anyway. Coming in now, perhaps missing the HOF game, might be a blessing in disguise. 10 less days of camp, may push the rookie wall further down the road for Ronnie so with any luck he makes it through the whole season unscathed.
 
Sorry, Nub ... didn't see your thread. I was glad to catch up on the other comments. It's going to be REALLY good having Ronnie in camp.
