Dear Ken O'Keefe, please teach Wallace to attack the ball with his hands ...

I doubt your daughter is catching passes from nfl quarterbacks.

Is that supposed to be a serious argument? If a 95 pound, 15 year old girl can use her hands to catch spirals thrown by a 6'1" 195 pound adult man. Then 6'0" 195 pound Mike Wallace can use his hands to catch a pass from 6'4" 225 pound Ryan Tannehill ...

(did I just get trolled? I can't believe I responded to such a stupid argument).

Is physicality a real actual word? My spell check does not flag it. But it was not a word until recently.

I'm foreign and some of the words that are used where I come from are not in use here or not very popular. However, I checked Merriam Webster:
Definition of PHYSICALITY

1
: intensely physical orientation : predominance of the physical usually at the expense of the mental, spiritual, or social
2
: a physical aspect or quality

I didn't make up the word - However, I learned that it's not very popular here in the US and I will not use it.
Thanks El Calebra.

You started the trolling when you brought up your 6 yr old as comparison.

Never said 6 year old, she's 15. And the point I was making that size has NOTHING to do with using your hands or being aggressive.

Oh, and welcome to Finheaven.

I guess my whole point is, for $60 Million he can reach for the damned ball.

Money aside, what in Wallace's history, makes you think he is a Megatron type WR?

You people want a Tiger to change his stripes, when nothing on tape says he is who you want him to be. He is a guy who takes the top off the defense. He is not going to be your possession type WR, nor will he be a physical go up and fight for the ball WR. The TD he scored this past week, is what he is. Frankly, you people need to stop whining about it. He is what he is.

I've heard the word plenty. No need to ban the term, because someone here is ignorant of its use or meaning.

I never said he was a Megatron type receiver. I said he doesn't use his hands to catch the ball and that a receiver making elite receiver money should use his hands. Clearly you disagree.

Disagree? Please point to a time in Wallace's history, of him being the WR YOU want him to be. Show me some tape of him doing what you think he should be doing. He just isn't that type of WR, never has been never will be. Why you guys keep whining about it I don't know.

And why you keep bringing up the money, for apples to oranges comparison is beyond me.:ponder:

I find your continued references to "whining" to be abrasive. I could just as easily argue that I'm tired of you whining about people whining. If you don't like the topic, then don't read. If you disagree fine, say so, but you don't have to be douchey about it.

Furthermore, the fact that you have no problem with a $60 million receiver NOT fighting for the ball, and in at least one instance allowing the ball to be intercepted through nothing other than lack of effort, is mind boggling. I guess you believe that people aren't capable of improving their technique through coaching and practice. Whatever ...

Here's the point. Nothing in Wallace's past says he is a physical WR. He is a burner who runs by his defenders. Big Ben and PITT had no problems with his skill set. And the MIA fan base should understand he came here because of that skill set. You may expect more, but that isn't why he was brought here. HE is filling his role just fine. Chemistry is slowly but surely developing between him and Tannehill. A offseason of work, will bring more return on the investment down the road.

Abrasive? Over the interwebz? A bit defensive and sensitive huh? I will look up a better term to best describe the constant drum beat of nonsense in talking about Wallace.

Wallace is what he is and as long as we use him for what he is, he will hurt many a defense.Imagine that Ryan and Wallace coming into their own at the same time...this offense is beyond warm and borderline hot getting hotter.

Imagine if Wallace used his hands to catch the ball! Wow, what a concept.

I agree completely, in fact Philbin and Ireland were aware of exactly what he brought to the table when they offered him that $60 million. If people think his skill set isn't worth that kind of money then that's a different debate, but I don't see him changing the way he's played the game for his entire life.

Big Ben and PITT had no problems with his skill set.

Other than not signing him to a new contract for $60 million

You have to admit though...he has done a much better job of this in the past couple weeks.

I'll reserve judgement until the next time a pass is 12 inches out of bounds.
