If the Carey restructure was for Orton then it appears our FO waited too long. They should have never allowed Orton to step on the field in Denver. Once Denver's FO saw how much better Orton is than Tebow that ended their thoughts of moving Orton. Most likely Henne is a make-it or brake-it QB for us this year. However in the NFL you just never know.
 
eh I don't really care either way...don't think there's that much difference between him and Henne, regardless of all the hate posts. At this point I'd rather us just keep the draft pick anyways

Well, looks like we better start thinking about which QB we want to draft in next years first round. While I'll root for and always support our team during the season, I just have a bad feeling on how this is going to go. Great defense, no offense.
 
It's time to sit back. Decide on Henne or Moore for this season. Trade whatever we have to next year for Andrew Luck, Matt Barkley, or Landry Jones. Tebow is McDaniels guy. John Fox came into the Denver situation with McDaniels' mess. It seems as if they are sticking with Orton so to me I don't see why Tebow wouldn't be available for trade. Clearly he is NOT there guy they want. However, if we are going to invest in a QB it looks like next year is the year. Someone is going to have to grow a pair and do whatever it takes to obtain that guy. We have all the other positions on this team. PRAYING FOR LUCK NEXT YEAR
 
Our odds of getting a good QB in the next draft just increased . . . thank you Denver.
 
I love these people who are happy about the fact that we get to keep are draft picks.Ok you draft a QB he takes a few years to develop and by than are Defense is old and slow and than we will be saying we need a defense.We need a QB now who can manage the game and be smart with the football.Ok you draft a Qb next year who is he going to learn from Henne, Matt Moore.We missed the boat on Orton.Only option left is a long shot Carson Palmer

I agree to an extent, but by this you are assuming there will not be a veteran QB to have during that year or two. Orton is a FA next year. But that is just an example. Every year there are stop gap solutions in Vet QB's. And for once, I would be happy with that IF, BIG IF, we FINALLY drafted a premiere franchise Quarterback!!

Maybe people are tired of all this hand me downs at QB and want the front office to get serious about the QB spot. People are tired of Fiedler, Frerotte, CPep, Feeley, Trent Green, Pennington, Thigpen and all these other guys. Some of those guys weren't even that terrible but none of them were good enough. You make it seem as if Henne can't function . . . the guy was 7-6 2 years ago with a piss poor defense, hell he was a reason our record was decent in 2009 . . . it wasn't Pennington and it sure wasn't this defense . . . stop acting like Orton is this huge upgrade and Henne can't manage a game, because that is the real nonsense I am getting from these Henne haters.

Chanting Orton and willing to give up a 2nd/Starks and 9 or 10 million a year . . . have people lost their minds.
 
I've felt all along that our future QB will be aquired in the draft next year, now who that might be is anybody's guess at this point...
