Desean Jackson slipping . . . do we take him at 32 if available?

I know we have a similar type WR in Ginn . . . but is anybody else getting chills thinking about having Jackson and Ginn back on punts and kickoffs . . . with our newly improved special teams unit. Also imagine the speed on offense with Ginn and Jackson at WR (Lorenzo thrown in the mix as well). I was looking at a few mocks, and I couldn't believe how much this kid has slipped. Some people have him going in the 40's (though some have him top 20 as well) . . . maybe just a fantasy on my part, and probably not best for the team . . . but man it sure would be exciting.

Off topic but I really like your mock draft in your sig.

No WR in the first few rounds! Fix the two lines first, maybe front 7, maybe CB. See where I'm going? Too many needs.

the #32 pick is reserved for Gosder Cherilus of BC to help Carey, Satele, and Smiley block for Matt Ryan and Ronnie Brown!

I'll pass on Jackson. He's a Ted Ginn clone. Wilford was a good pickup. We need more big guys who can run.

Thanks, its more of a dream mock . . . but I have seen several mocks where the top 3 were available when we pick . . . so u never know. Guards can be had later in the draft, plus there is a chance Satele moves to guard and Mormino to Center . . . tho I wouldnt mind if Albert falls to 32.

Him and Ginn are both 6 feet . . . taller than many people realize . . . but still not the IDEAL size I want at WR. Those 2 would be a NIGHTMARE matchup for D coordinators for years and years.
Actually no jackson isnt even close he measured under 5'10" i think he was like 5'9 and a half

We cannot draft another Ted Ginn Jr., and this is pretty much what DeSean Jackson is. I heard Jackson is about 165 pounds....that won't cut it in the NFL. We need O-lineman, LB's, and D-Backs. I would take a bigger WR like James Hardy at #32.

DE CHRID LONG, OT, DB, WR/TE, TE/WR, S, MLB

So NO we don't take him at 32, maybe maybe HARDY because of his size. But I say WAIT TILL THE 3RD and take ANDRE CALDWELL WR UF. He's 205 6'0 and runs a 4.3 -40

It probably wouldn't be the smartest move, but I wouldn't rule it out all together. Also, with the emphasis we've seen Parcells put on ST the last couple of weeks with all of our latest signings, I could see this move being made as well if he's there. I have heard rumblings as well that we may be looking to shift Ginn to WR full time and away from return duties so he can focus on being a more complete full-time Wideout. So we have speedy Ginn at #1, big possession Wilford at #2, but we still need an explosive slot to replace what Wes used to do, and DeSean could do that very well. DeSean Jackson, Ted Ginn, and Ernest Wilford would make for a very complete, explosive, young WR core which is why I would not mind that move one bit.

Desean Jackson is almost a perfect copy of Ted Ginn Jr. Can you imagine two Ginns? LOL. Although I have a lot of faith that Ginn will become a good receiver until I actually see it I have to say that one's enough
