Having gang members on the club did not turn out well for the Patriots.
 
Last thing Miami needs is another scandal / fiasco. Ross will likely avoid at all costs. Now if Ireland were still here, he'd already be on the phone with him asking what his mother does for a living :chuckle:

I think Carolina would be smart to pass on him and pick up a WR in the draft. They're desperate for a WR, but they shouldn't put their faith in a guy who sometimes plays by his own rules.
 
He would be one helluva upgrade over Hartline, find a TE somehow and the offense would start to worry most of our opponents.

Funny guy has been in the NFL for a few years now. had no prob. NO issues. Now all of a sudden he has "GANG TIES" He is a problem all of a sudden. WOW. Sure he knows a few guys from his hood that bang. Sure hw may know a few dealers that he grew up with. Dont we all that grew up in a inner city. I would have no issue with miami if they brought him on. It seems pretty clear that some teams could care less what type of picture the media is trying to paint here.
 
Chip Kelly overreaction! Whoever signs desean is getting a steal. People who just don't understand gangs are scared, its like a family not all are criminals. Its cause for investigation but if that's all you have is that he's friends with a murderer gang member . Yawn. I'm scared the jets get him and we have to face him twice a year

I never blast the dolphins but as a fan are you tiered of seeing other teams take chances at becoming better and Miami sit and do nothing? I mean really.... Mike Wallace / D Jax / Hartline in a 2-1 set. Talk about running lanes and taking the top off of a defense!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah, Patriots thought the same thing about Hernandez, that he would be an upstanding citizen, and instead he shot a guy. Sometimes guys don't WANT to move on from their past. Does this look like Jackson's moved on from the crips, when he flashed a gang sign during a live game?

Didn't anyone read Deadspin, or that newspaper article someone posted on here?

The Eagles were shopping him because they knew all of this was going down. Only, I guess they couldn't get rid of him in time.
 
I haven't been following his off the field stuff. All I know is the Eagles are idiots if they think they will be just fine without him. He's one of the most dynamic players in the league and I'm sorry, Riley "racist" Cooper? Jeremy Maclin coming off ACL surgery? Nah. The rest of the NFC East is happy today.

As for him coming to Miami - not going to happen. But, I wish it did. Really hope he doesn't wind up in our division.
