Based on what Grimes said and now Delmas....Hickey seems to have a way to making players feel "wanted"...

This was my favorite part about the entire article. Holier than thou Ireland was never able to make anyone, even players he resigned feel wanted. Looks like we finally have a GM who realizes that you need to stroke the players ego and not their own when trying to negotiate.

“They seemed to support me the most and they cared the most,” he says, “and they didn’t let the medical determine my worth as a football player. They gave me a chance to prove myself once again.”

You never, ever, ever heard anything like that said about Ireland.

Good read......I hope his knees hold up, I also like the fact that Hickey was giving him 6 hours to make a decision, he won't be used as a pawn.....I'm feeling better about the FA and Hickey more and more each day........
