Something he prob couldn't get in college.
Good point, but I wonder why this didn't happen sooner, like right after the draft before OTA's?

Right, I'm not disagreeing here. I'm just saying we'd have known if he re-broke it in practice. It may have just not healed 100% properly and required a fixture. The 8-10 weeks off is due to more than a screw replacement, but it gives him ample time to be ready to contribute heavily on opening day.
enigmatics posting the word unreasonable...Contribute what? He'll effectively get no snaps for the rest of OTA, Training Camp, and Preseason. With Lazor's offense and the route trees they run it's going to be quite a while until we see anything meaningful out of the kid. Anyone who thinks he's going to come in right away Week 1 and make an impact is being unreasonable.
How was this kind of thing not diagnosed before the draft by team doctors?
Hope it's not due to organized activities again

Big set back for the kid. If this was a veteran receiver I would say he is fine. Not a rookie.
I could see the top three receivers being productive enough along with a strong TE play keeping Parker off the field.
So people still worried?
Odell Beckham didn't have any problems catching up after missing the majority of training camp, preseason and the first four games of the regular season last year as a rookie.
How often does that happen? Where a rookie misses all the time and sets the world on fire when he comes back?
Would need to know a lot more about how Parker is like Beckham to determine that (not to mention the similarities of the offenses), otherwise it's a real surface comparison.
