YES I did get that impression. It can sometimes be attributed to a player who was the superior athelete coming out of HS and always being told he was a star. He enjoyed getting all the credit. Then he gets to college and makes some plays and a "feel good" coach starts once again with the "your the greatest thing since sliced bread" crap, and all he ever heard was how great he was, even when he only gave 50% effort. His passion for football is more a passion of having his ego stroked. He gets to the NFL and has a coach tell him he is going to have to give twice as much as he ever gave before just to be the 53rd player on a bad team, and suddenly football isn't so important any more. He starts wondering what other line of work he might try. And not until he gets out in the real world and realizes how good he had it will he start to understand what a wonderful opportunity he just BLEW!!!!Does anyone else get the impression that Egnew doesn't give a Crap? He seems to come across with no sense of urgency he seems very apathetic.
Anyone ese get that impression?
