Did Dawn Aponte just Game of Thrones Jeff Ireland?

John Clayton said the same thing I was railing about about a hour ago. Aponte is going to run this thing at the top. She will not pick the players, but will have to sign off on it. The GM is still vital, but those looking for a major shift in the org…it is not happening.

I am hoping the GM that is picked has a good eye for talent. Pioli is good. Mangini is outstanding. Gaine deserves a shot. Tannebaum…holy ****.

WHAT??? Are you kidding? Pioli couldn't get the most important pieces right in KC...no coach and no QB. What makes Mangini outstanding? Mangini has flamed out in 2 stops already and I've seen no evidence that he can pick players. Don't know Gaine, so I'll reserve judgement. Mike Tannenbaum would be the worst hire in Dolphins history, bar none.

aponte will likely be the Czarina.

That has been kind of apparent in a lot of what has happened. As long as there are ways around her on personnel, I am not necessarily against this.

I do not think Pioli is the best answer, but I think he knows what he is doing. As for Mangini, if you cannot see the talent he drafted and brought in through FA, that is on you.
