Yes he did.

But his accuracy still sucks. And taking a sack on the last play of the game in inexcusable.

On the last play...in his defense they were running hail marry routes and he was running sideways. Theres no way he could have set his feet to throw it. Not to mention hes probably pissed off because hes thrown like 3 interceptions on last second heaves.

Yes. He avoided several sacks today. His decision-making when he's running to his right is still spotty, but he did an outstanding job of moving in the pocket today.

doesn't matter, you do not take the sack. The int is meaningless, atleast get it in the air, and hope for a miracle.

I was there today and he moved very well in the pocket. Let's face...coaching staff was forcing him to stay in the pocket all along, they are now letting him take off when he needs to

yup, ill give him that. was def nice to see. however, his over and underthrown long balls totally overshadowed that today and i wanna piss in his cereal for it...

His overall pocket presence impressed me. He would tuck and run when he needed to but he would also stand tall, deliver the pass, then get absolutely crushed by the pass rush. He doesn't get happy feet or anything. Looked comfortable today. We have not seen the best of Tannehill, he keeps improving.

Like I hoped, some Cam Newton rubbed off on Tannehill, he actually ran for a first down and got it. Now, do that 4 more times a game and we win more.

He definitely did move better and seemed to sense the rush before he threw. I liked the hookup with Wallace for the TD, although it was obvious he wasn't accurate on several long balls. I also liked what he did with his cadence to throw off the panther defense. Overall, I thought Ryan had a good game, for him. But in the end, it wasn't good enough, and he's just not at same level as Cam Newton. Cam slept through the whole first half, and was harrassed by our D, but won it for his team, on sheer talent alone.

Tannehill just isn't at that level yet. But I do feel that what he can do more, is scramble. He can definitely be more mobile. And while he has potential, and will become a better QB in time, I don't feel that he'll ever be a pure pocket passer. If he's going to compete with elite QB's, he needs to use every skill he has, and that's mobility.

There are no more "pocket passers"

all the new young guns are all mobile.

Newton was trash today and they still won, that's what a team win is.

This is the stage of development I expected him to be at the beginning of the season. For whatever reason, he's way behind IMO

Pocket presence improving. He learns. Deep ball next. It's development guys. Be patient.
