Did Ryan Tannehill Improve Statistically in 2013?

Four 4th quarter comebacks balanced by 35th in 4th [quarter] passer rating. Digest that if you will. 35TH.

I don't think there's any doubt he'll be back for year three, but honestly, his improvement needs to be much, much better than this.
Also, his WPA did not improve, and it was 17th in the league among quarterbacks, which means that whatever increase in the team's win probability that was associated with his improvement in fourth-quarter comebacks and game-winning drives was offset by play on his part that diminished the team's probability of winning this season.

I'm a RT supporter but he flat our sucked in the 4th quarter this year as he was the 35 rated QB in 4th quarter QBR:

### The final book on Ryan Tannehill this season: He finished 10th in the NFL in passing yardage, 12th in touchdowns with 24, but 22nd in completion percentage, 30th in interceptions with 17 and 35th in fourth-quarter passer rating.

The No. 8 pick in the 2012 Draft, Tannehill had an 81.7 passer rating, which was 24th and behind four players also drafted that year: No. 88 pick Nick Foles (119.2), No. 75 pick Russell Wilson (101.2), No. 1 pick Andrew Luck (87) and No. 2 pick Robert Griffin (82.2).

That said, he did lead us to two nice comeback wins against ATL and NE. I just can't get the woeful performances of the past two weeks out of my head - they were absolutely horrible.

Thumbs up & thanks for the knowing what I meant

I`d be interested to know our pa/ra ratio for the 4th quarter, wouldn't be surprised if it was the most slanted towards the pass in the whole NFL...

161 pass attempts to 71 rushing attempts in the 4th quarter, though I don't know how that compares to the league norm. Surely there's going to be a correlation with scoreboard differential in the fourth quarter across the league.

Yup! it`d get complicated to sort them out wether the team is leading or trailing...
