If the earlier stories are true that Tannehill would get every opportunity to win the starting job, then it’s a black eye to the front office to not have him in camp. I would be disappointed if he isn’t signed and ready to go by Monday’s practice. I just don’t see the point in nickel & diming the potential future of the franchise.

I dont believe the ongoning negotiations are about "offset language" anymore. Its clear there is something else they are haggling about...maybe marketing or required appearances or the club requesting to preapprove external contracts (which is what Peyton Manning haggled about with the Colts on his last contract)....but I doubt this is still about offset language.

Emphasis on SMALL. Because that's what this issue is. And the fact that Ireland is allowing a holdout because of it, is insane.
