did we get screwd on that gordon deal or what?

not likely considering it would be saban doing the drafting, not wanny

Yeah, you got me there. I forgot that 3rd was 2005, not 2004.

Hey, it's late and my Canes lost so I'm a bit out of kilter. I won a bet on FSU but I rooted the other way. Road favorites in low scoring games just don't get there as a rule.

man i really can't belive that we gave up a 3rd rd pick for gordon and we could not get anything in return.was it cause our front office does not know how to wheel and deal or was it that we got burned that bad i mean jeeeeez.our front office must have been terrible cause none of these guys that we gave pretty high draft picks for have panned out gordon,aj makes me wonder if anyone would even be interseted in a trade for aj.

Thats what you get when you take a very bad head coach and a very weak GM, and tell them to "WIN NOW". Blame the bad trades on Wayne Huizenga as much as on Dave and Rick, because Wayne was the one that demanded an impossible result from incompetent employees.

Saban is slowly going to get rid of the Wannspiel regime. Feeley is next I believe. He will use the obvious talents that Wannspiel had at there disposal and ruined.

a RB would lose alot of value after missing a season due to injury.
Atleast we wont hafta worry about bonehead moves anymore.... our staff is #1 now.

I dont think anybody would trade for Feeley to be honest. He's not that "young" either..27 I beleive. I think he'll be out of this league soon enough.

Then you are severely over rating the existing QB talent in the NFL.

We didn't get screwed because part of every deal is timing...when we MIGHT have gotten something for him, no one needed a RB...now that it was close to cut down time, they just waited out...no big deal, he wasn't going to be in our plans anyway...you see this every year, where a team, rather than trade and have to give something up, just waits until the guy is cut and then signs him...

How much of that "win now" thing was Spielstadt and how much as Mr. H...Wayne wanted to win all along...Wanny only got scared for his job this past year...I still think it was panicking Dave's fault...

...no one is interested in trading for Feeley. Thank Rick Speilman for this mess.

As an Eagles fan it is amazing that even though Reid supposedly offered a 7th rounder for him, that was better than nothing; a good coach and GM finds gems in the late rounds. But Saban turned him down and then cut him. That made no sense. In the Eagles offense, he'll get about 10-12 carries a game, while Moats assimilates the offense, and probalby figure prominently in the passing game. Reid has already sadi he likes the guy's speed and the fact that he can catch the ball well out of the backfield.

What? You still dont get it?? Rick Spielman is a complete blithering IDIOT! This staff has nothing to do with the previous regime's screw ups. It was because NO ONE else was willing to give up a 3rd round pick for Gordon and NO ONE else was willing to give evena 5th, 6th, or 7th round pick for Feeley..But that didnt' stop your boy Spielman from hooking Philly up with a 2nd rounder which was almost like a 1st rounder. Hooked the Rams up with a NICE 3rd rounder. Hooked the Vikings up with a nice 4th rounder Just to move up one spot. That guy's an idiot. If I ever see him in the streets, he better man up. He'll probably kick my *** but he's sure gonna have to deal with me.:fire:

Nothing was confirmed. Everything about the Eagles offering a pick was speculation.

Blame Wayne....are you kidding me. The man gives Dave the keys to the house after he inherits a good football team, tells him money is no object, so he can get the players he needs, explains to dave that he is a hands of owner(some coaches will kill for this) Dave goes out and has two good records the first couple of years, your defense is ranked in the top 5 in the league, your RB leads the league in yards his first year and ran for 1300 yards his second year. What was Wayne to do, pat Dave on the shoulder and tell him good job better luck next time. If i were Wayne, I would probably have told them to WIN NOW as well. Wayne is not to blame.
