It was because NO ONE else was willing to give up a 3rd round pick for Gordon and NO ONE else was willing to give evena 5th, 6th, or 7th round pick for Feeley..But that didnt' stop your boy Spielman from hooking Philly up with a 2nd rounder which was almost like a 1st rounder. Well, the Eagles wanted to do a trade for Gordon, but Saban tried to bargain it up to high. Now he is gone and we got nothing! I will live w/ it I guess

i could have told you it was a bad deal at the time. but i also remember several fin fans liking the deal at the time. cus that that point you had no real RB. and you needed one fast. he was the best on you could find. and since you were desperate, you got bent over the table in the trade.
