Did we give up to soon on Chad Henne...?

Jaguars have won 3 out of there 4 last games with Chad Henne, which begs this question, should we have been more patient with Henne...?

Can Ryan Tannehill win 3 out of our next 4 to get to the next level...?

If we finish 9-7, I feel that will be progress. (meant to say if we at least win 3 to finish out 9-7 or 10-6)

Wow really? Have you actually seen Henne Play or looked at his stat line? As Sir Charles would say he's tuurrible just tuurbile.

Why not put a positive spin on it and say he is well above average in every category not correlated with winning? Youre so negative all the time.
Because he isn't that either! ;)

Can we talk about former players on the Dolphins news??????

I did that with Long, and post did not last long. Why Long goes to general news and Henne does not????? hmmmmmmmmm

8 TDs and 10 INTs this year. I do miss those numbers! :rolleyes2:

You watched Chad Play right ? If you didn't I might understand the question.

the only reason some joker hasn't started a case keenum over tannehill thread today is cause he was pulled last night...had he not been you can bet there'd be one on the main forum front page...

It is better to know quickly if your QB is good enough to make the grade or not. With Henne we invested 4 years. He was capable of having good games but would invariably stink the joint up with poor performance the following week and there was no sign that he was getting better. I think that Ireland made the right call by letting him pursue his future elsewhere. I like many others on here, invested emotional capital on Chad Henne and I would still like to see him succeed. Maybe he can make it but I honestly doubt it. Tannehill has superior skills in many areas and particularly intelligence. Henne could have been much better under more creative Offensive Coordinator(s) who gave him more responsibility. I seem to recall reading that Sparano/Henning didn't give him any autonomy to change the play based on the Defensive pattern he saw. He became their robot and they had the clock on how quickly he could release every ball.

Somewhere in the world in some deep, dark crevice Finjim read this thread and is now extremely conflicted.

I could only hope we give up as quickly on Tannehill so we can move on and find a franchise qb, and tannehil can go to the Jags and compete with Henne.
