Watching the 4th quarter again and to me Nolan Carroll saves the game on the 3rd and 14 play as he dives and swats the ball away from being a first down around the 30 yard line. Unheralded play of the game.
 
Nolan Carrol has step up this year -- The question is Do you RESIGN or let him test FA ?
Brent Grimes needs to be Resigned --
is Carol a True #2 CB ?
what about the drafter CB in the 2nd and 3rd round? Will Davis an Jamar Taylor? are they any good?
a lot to consider.

Re-sign Grimes, re-sign Carroll, let Patterson walk, get rid of R.J. Stanford and hope Will Davis and Jamar Taylor can stay healthy.

Patterson is too good when healthy to just let walk. You can't have enough good DBs on an NFL roster...

No way Carroll is a legit #2 corner. He's played ok this year, but not as well as some people like to think. I don't mind resigning him, but it should be as a dime corner/special teamer.
 
Carroll is serviceable and should remain on the roster, not a true #2 imo
 
he also had a great play on a deep ball almost coming up with a pick. he deserves a lot of credit yesterday
 
thank the weather, cuz under normal conditions I don't think he makes that play. wr having to take the edge of his route helped Carroll recover (imo). the universe giving back.
 
If only Patterson would stay healthy. The guy is an above average #2. At the same time our DC has done a great job also this year coaching the secondary in particular.
 
Resign Grimes, Mckinney, Clabo (thats right, I said clabo....another one year deal), Carroll, Patterson (cheap deal or walk), Soliai.

cmon, you cant give it up for him man?
 
according to Omar Clay is a free agent too. if true we must resign Charles Clay. we have a ton of money resign Grimes, Patterson, Carroll, Keller and McKinney. look to draft another linebacker and tight end. Brandon Gibson will be back, this will be a damn good team with everyone healthy

forgot soali, if starks is affordable I want him back too doubt he will be

Disagree with you on that point. The weather helped the receivers more than the DBs
 
The DBs are playing their brains out, they are flying. Unreal.
 
Clemons also had a pass defended AND led the team in tackles... just saying

love how Nolan is developing tho
