Dion Jordan - Jadeveon clowney combine comparison

Jordan doesn't give up on plays... No comparison needed. We got the better player.

Jordan actually fits this d. Coyle likes to run zone dogs which is what jordan gives you when he is on the field. He can drop and he can also rush the passer. I am uncertain why anyone would be down on him or why anyone who is not with the phins would speculate him being traded. Granted I am sure any player on our team can be had. But to me to me it seems upsurd that we are giving up on him. The guy didn't play very often because the players in front of him were producing. Wake is wake. Vernon had a breakout type year and even Shelby contributed. When wake was hurt there was no way they were gonna put jordan at the strong side posistion he would have been mauled by double teams in the run game.

as a fan we can be down or up on him. He was crap against run and the team had no faith playing him when Wake got hurt. Not sure as a fan that we have to think all of our players are studs

If there is the possibility of trading Jordan to Atlanta and realistic option of drafting Jake Matthews, would you take it?

Why would the Falcons consider that trade? They have a need at OT, and Mack and Barr are superior prospects to Jordan (if they opt for D).

I disagree about Mack & Barr being superior prospects and they also have a pass rushing need. IMO easier to find OT than DE in round 2 so why wouldnt they?

We can agree to disagree on Mack/Barr vs Jordan, but if you feel it's easier to find an OT in RD 2 (than a DE) and you prefer Jordan to Mack/Barr, why would you want that trade for Miami?

I don't see Barr as a better prospect either.

That tape against stanford was ehh, since that was the few elite teams he went against it makes me think he hasn't got the goods completely yet.

Im not sure how Jordan could be viewed as a better prospect than Barr by anyone but to each their own I guess

Both Barr and Jordan played in the Pac 10/12. In both of his seasons on defense, Barr amassed 20 or more TFL. Jordan's highest total? 13. In his two seasons on defense, Barr totaled 13.5 and 10 sacks. Jordan's highest total? 7.5. In those two seasons Barr totaled 10 forced fumbles (4 in 2012, 6 in 2013). During his career at Oregon, Jordan forced a total of 4 fumbles.

It's really not close.

Jordan is only a situational player here in Miami and IMO best fits a 3-4 D. We already have 3 very good 4-3 DE's in Wake, Vernon & Shelby.

If Coyle can dind a way of fitting Jordan in at OLB, much like Von Miller, id be happier.

Performance doesn't matter with Jordan just that people think he looks like a Taylor clone.
