So let me get this right. One team gets a column, and one team gets a row. The first digit of a score is irrelevant unless the score is under ten. After that you only count the second digit of a number?

yup that is correct. In last nights game the person who had 7-3 Pats won two qtrs so made a bit of money compared to what they invested. Unfortunately in my pool it was my sister in law.

In the example, it says the final score was 21-14 Dallas.

The score was 6-0 Washington in the first quarter, so John won with 6-0.

The score was 7-6 Dallas in the second quarter, so Matt won with 7-6.

The score was 14-6 Dallas in the third quarter, so newKev won with 4-6.

The final was 21-6 Dallas, so Christy won with 1-4.
