Do not resign Tua

Did Tua surrender 56 points today? Didn't think so....the team was one dimensional before the second half even began. This loss is not on Tua....that was an awful defensive performance. Another let down on the road. Move on to next week and win the division.....go from there.
how many points did the offense score this week? and last week? or against the Chiefs? or the Eagles? or against the Bills? ... It's a common theme my friend. I don't know why people turn a blind eye to these facts

Yep! Tua doesn’t perform well against good teams and especially physical teams!

I think you are being way overdramatic, but bring up some solid points. My counter would be that I would like to see Tua with an actual good offensive line. Butch Barry still deserves his credit, but this offensive line is masked by the offensive scheme and Tua with his quick release and decision making. As you mentioned, when things are off script or we get in negative down and distances, that’s when the issues start to present themselves. These teams with overpowering defensive lines rush 3 or 4 and drop 7 to 8 in coverage. With the time that Tua has to throw, it’s literally impossible for him to make it work. When the Dolphins stay in front of the sticks, that’s when you see good drives, because the defense can’t pin it’s ears back as much.

Not really and 204 is asking even less.

A better question is if our run game is so good why don't we run it more?
Agreed. we should be running it more but I think McDaniel loves Tua and wants to show him off. Unfortunately, he better realize he cant trust Tua in the big games

I'm not turning a blind eye to it. I've been saying it since last year that this offense is overrated. But going with Wilson or cousins is not an upgrade.

THANK YOU! I'm not saying all this to celebrate. It makes me sick. Tua just doesn't have "it". Russ has had it in the past and Kirk has had his moments. They're not ideal but I'm really not okay with running this same thing back AGAIN next year. ughhh.

The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results :(

I don’t think a smart GM would let Tua just play out his contract.

I could see not signing him to an extension this offseason and draft McCarthy, Penix Jr, or Nix in the 2nd and give the team options following next year.

This offensive system is EXTREMELY QB friendly. It does require a cerebral QB however. McDaniel has turned an average, immobile QB from an average, meh guy to a top 10 QB. Imagine what he can do with an actual good QB who ya know, can stand in the pocket for longer than 2.5 seconds.

Sign Russ or Kirk who has balled in the playoffs

If you're a fan of Tua, that's awesome.. Just know, he is not capable of LEADING this team to a super bowl. He needs an opportunistic defense and almost perfect OL play.

The quicker we rip the bandaid off, the better it will be in the long run
This one sentence ruined your post. I mean, the whole post is garbage anyways, but you really ruined it with it that nonsense

Okay we can agree to disagree. Kirk's Offenses have been top 10 and Russ has actually played well this year.. I dont count last year. Hackett should not be in the NFL (see: Jets lol)

tell me which part? I'd love for you to rebut what I said with actual.. ya know.. facts

I think McDaniel is part of the problem. And I think Tua has some obvious limitations. But I don't think you just move on from him bc of those limitations.

I didn't read whole thread. Just was wondering who was going to replace Tua? I'm old and this point in my life I have limited time

Hypothetical **** it scenario.. would you trade 2 firsts and Tyreek for Bears 1st and sign Caleb ?lol Bears are actually looking pretty good right now
