Do not resign Tua

There's merit to the post. The problem is this entire team are a bunch of China dolls. We 15 players on the injury list.
I totally respect that but it kinda shows you the good qbs from the not so good. Ravens were down their entire secondary lol Bills defense has been decimated this year, Mahomes has the worst WR group in the league.. All can win when you need them. Tua needs everything to be perfect

Honestly I'm fine with Tua. Give him a better o Line and let's see.
I was talking about your desire for different linemen. Really just messing with u since you ask the op the same question about his qb change desire.

Russ went to 2 super bowls. Allen literally is his entire offense who owns the dolphins and has gone deep in the playoffs
The narrative is what is Tua with out Hill. Well what was Allen before Diggs? What has Russ done without an elite defense and run game? How many SBs has he won without it? What does owning the Dolphins matter? We suck right? How is owning a sorry team like the Dolphins an impressive feat?

Not completely putting the blame on Tua when his HC is a moron and the defense gives up 56.

Offense moved the ball without 4 starters and should have scored 17 points in the first half if Hill didn’t drop a gimme. That should have been enough first half production to be in the game at the end.

We were never going to be in the game unless he was PERFECT with the way the defense played today.

He threw the horrible interception hurrying to get a play off before the two minute warning. That's the game changer. Miami could have went into the half at 21-16 or 21-20.

He also had 2 perfectly thrown balls dropped in the endzone by Hill and Claypool. Had 2 TD passes dropped in Philly as well and you guys let him have it after that game.

Again, while not anything close to spectacular — not the reason we lost this game or anything close to it.

McDaniel and Fangio should be the names getting dragged in the mud today. They were both equally terrible.

Yes, let's compare qbs in their mid 30's playoff record vs a qb in his 4th season. That makes sense.
That would be like comparing Dennis Johnson's playoff history vs Michael Jordan's in the 3rd year of Jordan's career. And no I'm not saying Tua is as dominate as Jordan.
And let's also compare him to qbs carried by an elite d. The op is just cherrypicking here.

The NFL is littered with QBs who went to the SB. Hell Jimmy Garropalo went to a SB as did Chris Chandler. So what?
The poster that I was replying to mentioned that burrow got knocked for the last two seasons and I was just suggesting that despite being injured he at least made it to the Super Bowl.

I see it the other way around.

I’m keeping Tua and probably dumping McDaniel.
Whaaaat? So Tua is just gonna be the guy where coaches go to die.. You want Tua to have a 3rd QB? McDaniel has turned Tua into the 20th ranked QB into a top 10 guy (mostly against bad teams tho)

Okay I get that lol. I'd have to look at who's a FA next season. Haven't kept up with guys in the draft. Really just put some effort in to the o Line. Not make it a final option or when it's too late.

I wouldn’t be in a rush to resign him! Let him play next season on his 5th year option and then make a decision!

We're in a tough situation because even if Tua isn't elite and has a lot of bad moments against good teams, he's still a top 15 QB and it's not like we can just find them anywhere. So we probably have to resign him either way. So the whole conversation is moot.
Russ > Tua, has gone to 2 SBs, doesn't get hurt when he gets tackled, throws the best deep ball in the league, can extend plays with his legs. He's not Tom Brady but he's better than Tua

Just as long as the effort isn't armstead and williams?
