Do not resign Tua

Who asked you? Go jump on a table or something...
Just trying to help.
BTW 13marino13:
In their regular season meetings, Jim Kelly held an 11-7 win advantage over Dan Marino, and in addition, Jim Kelly won all three playoff games against Dan Marino.

Honestly from what I have seen from Tua the last two seasons, he more often than not does not play his best in the big games, for whatever reason. Call it Kirk Cousins affect or whatever. But honestly I need to see Tua carry this team to a division title and play lights out the next two games or else I don't think I hand over big money to him. And the way the QB market is/has been going, every QB that gets signed to long term deal, the number goes up and up and Tua has not earned to be one of the highest paid QBs in the league....YET. But I'm going to see how he does this week and, in the playoffs, to make that decision. Is there a way we sign him long term to a "team friendly" deal? where he is paid as a top 12 QB instead of like a top 5 QB?

4 super bowl losses in a row and I enjoyed all 4

no way Im giving up on a qb this young who operates faster than anyone and who is more accurate then anyone, he needs to learn from his mistakes but hes young.

I think the issue becomes who are we going to find better? I love tua but he does seem to shrink in big moments sometimes. But hell the whole team does. Maybe that changes and I think we give him that chance to see what happens next year. We aren’t in a position to draft a good qb and I don’t think anyone out there on the free agent market is better than him.

anything short of having a "sure thing" veteran shake lose you really have no other option but to re-sign him.

The defense has been the ultimate shrinker

I agree. Fangio had me fooled for a couple of weeks. But against the big dogs in the NFL. He just ain’t cutting it.
Only against losing teams have they played well.. look at the collapse in the Titans game

He also had the same amount of Super Bowl wins as Marino. That and $2 get you a bowl of soup...
