i'm not being a hater. they're keeping three qb's. you cut the one who has the best chance of being unclaimed if everything else is equal. i'd cut the guy who just went undrafted, because he's most likely to get on the PS. unless he totally blew rosenfels away...

why don't you just add this to one of the existing berlin threads?
no thats not the way it works, you keep the 3 QBs who are playing the best rookie or vet no matter

Going into last year I thought that the team (Wanny / Spielman) made a huge mistake in acquiring Feeley and casting Griese off. Greise would've been in his second year in the offensive system, know it that much better, than Feeley for one, secondly he was a proven Qb. Not a 3rd stringer that only played or started a few games. I truthfully thought we stood a better chance with Fiedler in, rather than AJ. I actually upon reading the camp notes from last year & watching the pre-season games, thought the Rosenfels did a much better job that both Fiedler & Feeley, although he didn't get an opportunity to start until late in the year against the Ravens. I thought he did pretty well against them, considering the lack of an o-line & poor runnning game. Meanwhile, accross the state, Griese was doing fairly well for himself after Simms went down with an injury. I do believe it was his 1st year in that system & he seemed to divulge it rather well, and I do beleive the starting job is his now. So we give an unproven QB a year deal worth close to what 17 mill? When we could've probably keep a serviceable ,if not better than average QB for probably roughly the same?

I think that Berlin has more potential then Feeley does at this point in their careers. Berlin is only a rookie while Feeley is a 4 or 5 year vet. Feeley has yet to EARN a starting job (I don't think he earned it from just barely beating out Feidler) and has pretty much been a career back-up who has gottin chances to start but hasn't shown enough to keep his job yet. Berlin is still very young and just had a good Sr. year. So who has more potential at this point in both of their careers?

I say Berlin does because he is younger and just had a good Sr. season

One better than average college season ?? If that...Look at the talent he had around him for two years and he couldn't do it...that tells me all I want to know about Berlin..on the other hand, Feeley with a decent supporting cast did well in Philly...enough so that he got the attention of several clubs when he became available...then he comes here, has to learn one system from Feb to Jun, and then another offensive system from July on...no...Berlin has little chance at this point in his career...

we'll probably get rid off Feeley after this year anyway so what's the logic in keeping him? let another team have him if they want
