After his horrid patience with the Oline coming out of the bye last week does anyone have any faith He'll replace these two stiffs? Not me....I think it took Martin to walk and Richies suspension before he shuffled chairs on the Titanic. Im sure he'll wait till its too late. Cant wait till Joes gone.

I am not a fan Joe. However, I hope he grows as a coach this year. If he does that is only good for the Dolphins.

i cant stand him myself…he was so UNMOTIVATING during hard knocks that i gave up on him BEFORE he even started….that said go get 'em joe!!!!

Interested to see what they do re the Guard position. Joe and Lazor know that Dallas Thomas got killed in Tampa. Rather than throwing Billy Turner into the fire, they may elect to put an experienced veteran like Garner into the role or they may give Thomas a lot more snaps to evaluate him further. Games like last night could mentally scar Thomas, permanently.
At LB, I expect that they will continue to evaluate Wheeler vs Jelani Jenkins in the next preseason game. Tripp was getting more playing time replacing Ellerbe, but he can play all LB positions.

Dallas Thomas played like crap yesterday. He's been solid for months now. I'm not saying he's the world's greatest but maybe need to put your pitchforks and torches away.

I don't have faith in Philibin nor Coyle.

I have faith that he'll play the players that he feels gives us the best chance to win enough games to get us in the tournament in 2014. I understand the point of view that playing the young guys might be in the best interest of the franchise long term but if Wheeler is slightly better, and he's proving he's slightly better in training camp and in practice then slightly better still gives us a better chance to win right now.

But if the young guy is outplaying Wheeler then I do have confidence the young guy will play. The difference between this situation and the Jon Martin situation is as bad as Martin was I'm sure he still must have legitimately won the training camp battle because behind him we had nothing. Like, wasn't Dallas Thomas his training camp "competition?"

It is a long season and they have already hitched their cart to this lame mule. Against the better competition he will be exposed time and time again.
Where do we find these giant linemen that are weak for their size? I swear he plays like Jon Martin.
Unless we can sign a season ready guard during the final cuts, Dallas Thomas will be the starter. Billy Turner will not be ready to start until mid season at the earliest.
In game 1, Wilfork will line up across from him all game. He will toss Thomas aside like a scarecrow. I expect a lot of quick passes and roll outs against the Pats.

Well if Joe gets fired at seasons end then so will our entire staff and maybe even Hickey. The entire thing will be blown up and we'll have to start all over yet again

I thought he tossed him aside like Buddy Lee the Dungeree Doll.

I am rooting for Joe to get us to the playoffs this season. I am 100% pro Joe right now.

But if we don't make the playoffs and Philbin gets fired? Steve Ross is going all-in for Jim Harbaugh. I mean all-in this time.
