Does anyone here like/ believe Damien Williams, and if so - Why ?

If we keep 3 RB's he's the best option we have now. If not, then he's not worth keeping.

You always keep 3 RBs. That position is not like QB where you can go with 2

lets not open up any holes on offense this season. we need to focus on the D.

He runs hard and good things usually happen when he's in on offense.

He's much better this year in my opinion, and it was evident in preseason when he outplayed Pead to earn his spot.

I like him. Best playing this year than any other mistakes aside.

I am curious to get the consensus of fin fans opinions on Damien Williams- In my opinion i think Drake should be on the field instead every single snap over DW. Not only because Damien choked this weekend and arguably nailed in our coffin vs NE- but even before that ive always wondered why he gets put in the game over Drake . I personally don't see anything good in him that drake cant do ( i am no game film expert by any means) . I remember Bill Belichick praising Damien, so is there something i am missing here ?

Yes, there is something you are missing. Damien Williams has consistently made some big plays this season - by far his best. Opposing defenses plan to stop other Dolphins and forget about Williams. He is sneaky good.
BTW - Interesting to note that Gase asked Tannehill at the conclusion of their very first meeting in Miami if there are any players he should particularly look for when he looks at the Dolphin games from 2015 and Tannehill's response was to check out Damien Williams. He is definitely the best Dolphin RB at protecting the QB against the blitz.

He is valuable to this team in all facets. Receiving, blocking and rushing. Anyone see that one handed grab he had last week? He caught that with one hand like he was a receiver

its hard to not equate that fumble with his old mistakes he used to make all the time....in crucial moments, and hes gotten away with a few lately too. But no doubt hes been one of the guys that got us here too.

I give him one last mulligan. Im sure he'd be elated to know that.

I like him...... he's been productive on minimal touches, catches the ball well, and good vision for end zone.

Just got caught from behind and lost the ball....sucks cause he's been nothing but positive with limited action until the new England game.

He's very good, a nice pick up by super Hickey

I've called for him to be cut every year he's been on the team, but this year he has played much better. I have also read that he is a locker room leader and one of the most respected guys on the team. So if he continues his high level of play*, I'm all for keeping him around for the right price.

*an important part of this is that Gase doesn't call shotgun draws to him on 3rd/4th and short like Philbin loved to.

he's gotten better now that he's got a more defined role on the team - well rounded

seems to be making plays, getting in the endzone....i like him as a piece in our backfield

Dear OP: let's rate your life's work, based on errors/mistakes that changed the outcome... see where you come up on the 'like/believe in' scale

On offense, he's the 3rd leading scorer. (Stills, Ajayi) That's 2 more TD's than Jarvis Landry. That's not to say that given the same snaps, Drake would not have done as well but I like him as a role player. I would like to see Drake more.

Blitz pickup and hands. Had a nice season. Fumble sucks but the DB make a nice play. Nice role player
