This is a trick question....

Thread title proposes the yes or no question "Does Philbin make it through the season?"....and I voted "yes" to that question.

But when you click on the thread the poll questions is "Will Philbin be fired before the end of the season?"

Stupid thread/poll OP

We beat the Patriots at home, and lost to the Bills away. Way too early for this thread.

I didn't expect to see this thread until week eight or so.

Ross doesn't seem the type to fire a coach midseason. He would rather waste the life and energy of the fanbase by having us suffer through his mistake to the bitter end.

Well he did fire Sparano mid season, so perhaps there is hope if things go sufficiently astray...

Of course. The owner won't fire him...and I doubt Hickey has the power to fire him.

We have a win against the Pats...going astray would be 1-10 with that win for Ross...

Ha true. It's almost like I've blacked that whole debacle out of my mind. Even if Ross doesn't seem the type, the precedent is certainly there..

Well lets see GB went 97 yds in a 1:38 yesterday, with 2 timeouts and no 2 minute warning and down in there game 21-6. We have over 2 min, 3 to's and 80 yds to go, and a qb who actually plays very well in a hurry up offense, and we also have the 2 min warning and we run the clock out wtf, smdh. Philbin is a failure imo, no emotion whatsoever out of him, no wonder this team plays as flat as they do most of the time. I dont believe he makes it through the season, i really dont.

I don't have a problem with the poll. No need to bitch if you don't like it. Move on to the next thread.

For what it's worth I voted no. I don't think much of Philbin at this point, but very little to gain by firing him midseason. Hoping for the best, but not expecting much the rest of the year. However, I will be pissed if we win 7-8 games and we drag out the exact same act next year.
