does the chargers win over denver help us?

i think it does correct?

In the sense that if all 3 teams (Ravens, Fins, Chargers) all finish the season with the same record, Miami gets into the playoffs out of the 3. I honestly don't think it will come to that, but if it does, a Chargers win isn't hurting us. However, a Denver loss puts the Pats in a better position for the #1 seed. Ugh. :err:

oh yea good point but yea im still eyeing that 3 way tie i truly do believe chargers r finishing 9-7
in that case we win 2 of 3 bmore wins 2 of 3
these tie breaking scenarios are freaking mind boggling!

You're right. I hadn't considered the three-way tie.

They can't beat us to a playoff spot if we win two more games. I don't think a person who believes that we deserve to make it to the playoffs anyway at 8-8. If we take care of business, the Ravens lose one, and they win out, there is no way we don't make the playoffs.

Yes, it helps us. Denver losing also guarantees New England has something to play for against Baltimore even if we beat them.

...and if Denver loses, the Pats go back to the Super Bowl. I want to vomit. The Chargers go 9-7 now folks if they win. Forget going 8-8 and getting in.

I still think it was worth SD losing. I disagree with people here.

BTW, NE is going to be JACKED for Sunday to keep home field.

BTW, MIA is going to be JACKED for Sunday as every game from here on out is essentially a playoff game for us.

And the Patriots weren't gonna be prepared Sunday otherwise? We're talking about Belichick.

this is half true. depends on who Baltimore wins and loses against. If Baltimore losses their next 2 games, but beats the bengals and become 8-8, with miami and SD at 8-8, Baltimore is in.

Patriots are not going to win the Super Bowl. I don't give a **** if they have the #1 seed. I'd rather them have it than Denver, because I think we can actually give the Pats a game. I don't think we can compete with Denver.
