9-13-99 Dolphins 38 Broncos 21.
Coming off two consecutive SBs and a long home unbeaten streak the Broncos play in their home stadium as favorites to beat the Dolphins even though they start a rookie QB Brian Griese .The festivities involve a firework display and a ceremony to retire John Elway's number.
The Dolphins coached by Jimmy Johnson and featuring Dan Marino ,OJ Mc Duffie,Zach Thomas find a way to beat the Champions.Other players of note were Yatil Green.Cecil Collins,JJ Johnson ,Konrad.
The Broncos feature most of their SB players including Shannon Sharpe.Tyrell Davis.
The quality of the video excellent except for occasional loss of video. The audio is mpeg2 and is of good quality. The file is 3.63 Gig in size
Marino's First Win83 Dolphins 32 Jets 14After a disappointing performance by David Woodley,Shula inserts Dan Marino at QB in his rookie season with good results. In the 5th game of the season he had an impressive performance in a 38-35 (OT) loss to the Bills .
In his next start against the Jets Marino promptly throws a 66 yrd TD to Nat Moore in his first series and then displays an array of throws worthy of an 12 yr All Pro QB including a long feathered pass that was dropped by the receiver and a bullet to Joe Rose for another TD.
The starting Jet QB Richard Todd with throws remindful of Jay Fiedler gets intercepted 5 times in the first half and is pulled in favor of Ryan and not O'Brian who was drafted ahead of Marino and who in marked contrast to Marino is holding a clipboard.
Other players of interest are Mark Gastineu and Joe Klecko for the Jets and William Judson for the fins who had the game of his life with two interceptions for TDs.
The video quality is Average. There are some rough edits of the commercials. The audio is AC3 Dolby and is good quality.
The file is in DVD Format and 2.13 Gig in size

SEEDING
To make these torrents work it is very important that you stay on seeding for at least 24 hrs after you have finished particularly if you have a high speed (BW) connection .
As a bare minimum you should upload at least as much BW you have downloaded.
-
Its not a good idea to load to many torrents at the same time as our total bandwidth would be spread too thinly in order to do a good job of seeding.

What is a torrent ? Basically it a file sharing system. The way it works is that a fellow member records the game, edits the commercials, compresses the result into a digital file which is then uploaded to a bittorent site.
To download a copy of the game You need to first install a client (Program). Then you open the torrent file (A text file which gives instructions to your client) and it will start loading the video file on your HD.Here is a link to the client we recommend.
http://www.bittornado.com/http://www.bittornado.com/http://www.bittornado.com/
In order to see the encoded video on your PC you will need to install codecs. That only comes into play after the load is complete and you want to see the game on your PC player. You will be advised what codecs to install.A very good media player that will read most codecs is the Videolan player. Here is the link.http://www.videolan.org/vlc/
The DVD size videos do not need codecs but do need special viewers such as WinDVD and PowerDVD.To watch the DVDfile on your PC just open the vob.files.
To burn a DVD try the following tips
They are already a playable DVD.The structure of a 'DVD' is just 2 file folders, an AUDIO_TS and a VIDEO_TS, with all of your .IFO, VOB, etc files being in the VIDEO_TS folder & the AUDIO_TS empty. When you select a "DVD Video" option with Nero or some other software all it does is create those 2 folders & arrange your files in the one.
If you re-create that structure on your PC, then you can burn straight to DVD with no problems with any software you normally use
BTW the torrents that are not DVD quality will suffer in comparison if your objective is to burn the video and watch it on a big screen. They are oriented for PC viewing. Here is the link for the codecs for the Divx ripped videos.
For those who would like to load the game but who need additional technical help check the following FAQs.
http://www.filesoup.com/faq/
For those with a technical background
We request that you roll back through the thread if you have any questions. The information you seek may have already been answered.
No torrent can be successful without the participation of encoders(Those who capture the video, encode and upload the torrents),seeders (Those who stay on after they finish loading to help out other members who are trying to finish) and leechers (A misnomer as they are also sharing their BW as they are trying to finish). If you are interested please post on this thread.
The torrents usually start slowly and build up downloading BW (bandwidth speed) as those who finish stay on to seed for those who have not finished. If done properly it has an snowballing effect.
If you are experiencing slow download speeds or you suspect you have Firewall issues to overcome you may want to forward your ports.Try the following procedures.(Only for PC literates)http://www.portforward.com/help/pfprogression.htm alsohttp://p2p.weblogsinc.com/entry/0401842428674831/ Remember when you forward your ports you also have to find the place in your client software that specifies the port range it uses and make sure that it matches the port range you specify in the port forwarding section of your router config
To upload a torrent you first have to make a torrent file. You can use a program called Maketorrent 2.1 for this purpose.Link
Its a simple procedure. The most important information is the URL of the tracker you will be using.
Note to Uploaderslease include the following NFO text file with your upload. The text Version
http://www.dolphintown.com/Dolphins.txt
The NFO versionhttp://www.dolphintown.com/Dolphins.nfo[
[Props to AWING PILOT]
Note to new Encoders and Cappers. It might be a good idea to upload a sample of your torrent before uploading your main torrent.
