Dolphin players with their last chance this year

Egnew has to be on this list...it's a **** or get off the pot year...if he doesnt ball this year Miami will draft another tight end with a high pick in 2015 or go the free agent route...I expect us to move on

Lazor has a strong connection with jake McGee formerly of UVA and now a gator and I bet he'd be in play...can't block but can flex and make plays in the red zone...was the go to guy when they were together

I'm going to assume most people assume Egnew won't make the team. Hes an obvious one but since he's currently 2nd on the depth chart I assume Lazor thinks his skill set can fit

Wake's cap number is 9.7m next year. He'll will need to get back to the double digit sacks if he expects to collect it in 2015.
I didn't say Jordan would replace his production. But he is a cheaper option if wake's play falls off further
Wake is still one of top defensive ends playing! As long as his health stays and he produces! I. Cant see him going! And while Jordan may be cheaper he still cant sniff the field or prove he can do the job. Only thing i could see is Cam replaced by a cheaper free agent pick up! Other than that Cam stays .

Philbin is in a different situation, with Lazor and Benton being first year coaches in a new scheme. Unless the team falls flat on it's face, Joe will be here in 2015.

I don't think he is really 2nd...2 tight end sets I'm betting are sims as the primary in line and clay flexed etc...I'd like to know how sims is handling himself one on one in practice as a blocker...haven't heard anything yet may be saving it for full pads

They keep 4 tight ends cause of all the two tight sets in the o my money's on egnew being the 4th...I'm a believer that we will carry 5 wr more than 6 anyways unless ones the returner which I think will be thiggy again...

I read somewhere (Omar?) that no Dolphins coach , other than Wilson and Shula, has made it past not making the playoffs in three years. I don't doubt the trend continues.

Interesting. He had a chance last year.
