Dolphins +4 vs Panthers

the last time i bet on the dolphins, i lost 300 dollars. That was the Dolphins-bucs game. A game they should have won easily.

dolphins have to play a perfect game for them to win this game. I dont like your odds of winning bro.

They do have tons of weapons. Between Deangelo ,Smith and Newton it will be tough. They also have a TE in Olsen which I wished the Fins would of signed him. I read Johnson might be out so there goes that but they still have those two DT and Davis , Kuechly. Their weakest at the secondary. Hopefully we can put an extra TE (Sims) to help with blocking and just out gun Newton. Which I think Tannehill is a better passer than Cam. Sherman you need to bootleg, roll tanne as well. Let him use his legs. He needs to scramble and beat newton.

Rule #1 of gambling:

Never bet on games with your team.

I'll be OK. While always looking for opportunities to bet on them the only other time I've actually pulled the trigger and bet was the Oakland game last year. I really wanted to bet the Cincy game but kept holding out for another 1/2 point which never happened.

Cam Newton can't scramble?

Uhm....

... okay, what the **** are you smoking, chief?

actually, I get what he is saying. He can run no doubt, he is looking to run less and as last resort going through his progressions. He cant scramble as in quickness to beat a sack or sense pressure. Then again, Tannehill is doing same thing just taking off less because less time to do so.

Carolina have scored over 30 in half their games. We haven't done it once. That should tell you something. We're missing Binns, Keller and Gibson from our lineup. Wallace and Miller are underwhelming so far. To try to get 30 points plus from this injury- and absence-plagued offense is a huge ask.

So you have to bring them down to your level. That means a defensive performance the like of which we haven't seen yet (though we have seen it in stretches of games). If Patterson is fit and Wake is back to his rampaging best, Wheeler discovers what his arms are for in the tackle and we come out swinging, we MIGHT get within 4 points and MIGHT nick it.

But I don't expect it, even though Carolina aren't as good as everyone is making them out to be. A bit like us, they're very efficient in the redzone (slightly better actually), but between the 20s they're not dissimilar to the Dolphin offense, just a bit better all round with better scoring weapons.

yeah, beating up on the lowly Giants early and beat up Falcons late. Face it, we had a tough schedule.

They also run the ball more consistently, have a much better TO margin, and have a better D. Basically, we have to hope that we're playing at an optimum level and that they're flat. Otherwise, we just don't match up.

Cam Newton to this point has been responsible for 11 potential TO's (10+1 fumble his team recovered) and Tannehill has been responsible for 19 potential TO's (16+3 fumbles his team recovered). That's 1.1 times a game where Cam loses the ball and 1.9 times a game Tannehill does the same. This statistic can not hold true if Miami expects to win the game.

miami is lock city this week, this is a textbook letdown game for carolina. i think we win by 10

Did you watch the Monday night game?? The panthers have a running game, passing game, and the best defense in the NFL. Unless they come in flat and start turning the ball over, the panthers win this one fairly easy. Expect the line to continue to rise throughout the week. Our run defense will have to play a lot better than they have so far this year for us to keep this one close IMO.

I should have waited, +4.5 now.
