How do we justify two kickers and 3 QB on the 53 man roster? I think we have to pick up a veteran, Feely (he knows the division well) and put Sturgis on IR unless they can guarantee he will be 100% in a 2 weeks or less. If he can be ready to kick by week 2 then we have to go with 2 QB and carry both kickers. Now that we have a team ready to fight for a playoff spot we have a ? at kicker......sometimes you have to leave the kicker alone, we signed Carpenter to big money for a reason...he was good, because he had a bad stretch doesn't justify letting him go on draft day when you use a 5th rd pick on his replacement...they should have brought in a UDFA and or a veteran to compete fairly and see how he reacted to the pressure....by using the draft pick all Sturgis had to do was not be terrible and the job was his. The Pats had the same problem with there Kicker, he signed for big money and then had a bad yr, he is now one of the top 3 kickers in the game.....you must have patience with good kickers....

just fyi, but there are currently 3 kickers on the roster, but don't worry, there will only be 1 on the 53. also, why would a kicker need to know the division?

Just watched Caleb Sturgis kick a 47-yard field goal that almost reached the media. He's pushing it again.
