The 6-2, 217-pound Rogers joins the Dolphins from the Cleveland Browns where he spent a portion of the 2014 off-season prior to being released on July 28, 2014. Rogers originally entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent with the New Orleans Saints after the 2011NFL Draft. He was released by the Saints on August 3, 2011. He signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on August 5, 2011 and was released on September 3, 2011. He re-signed with the Buccaneers January 5, 2012 and was released May 7, 2012. He was claimed off waivers by the Dallas Cowboys on May 8, 2012 and was released June 1, 2012. He signed with the New York Giants on January 25, 2013 and was release May 12, 2013. In 2014 he signed with the Washington Redskins on March 14, 2014 and was released May 12, 2014 before signing with the Browns on June 9, 2014. Rogers completed his collegiate career as Cincinnati’s all-time leader in scoring with 339 points. He connected on 51 of 75 field-goal attempts and set a school record with 63 extra points in 2009.
