Dolphins blew it with passing on Herbert

Isn’t Tua 1-0 against Herbert? I must have forgotten but someone please correct me if I’m wrong?

At this point there's absolutely ZERO evidence to support that statement. IMO.
In fact to the contrary -- it would be a disaster if he was throwing the ball that much.
I’d like to know what crystal ball you use to come up with these hottakes.

It’s funny watching all the one who think stats is the metric of a great QB. **** I’m sure if Tua was forced to throw the ball 30-40+ times a game he’d be all world as well. Tua’s played half the games the other rookie QBs have played it’s not even fair to compare them right now.
They won’t let him throw that much because the coaches don’t trust him. It’s obvious now after him being benched

Given this offense and it’s lack of weapons. Yes that would be a disaster

I’m curious to see the “Tua club” comes up with if Tua sucks again vs the Jets...

You mean like how the Chargers didn’t trust Herbert to push it down the field when he played against the Dolphins?

I know its early to access them but... you can do an eye test.

Herbert is a tall athletic strong armed playmaker. He looks like he belongs and can be a great QB than can win games and not just manage them.

Tua is a soft arm, small, non athletic accurate passer that was surrounded with talent at Alabama. He is a game manager/scheme QB at best.

As far as relievers not getting open, its half Tuas fault. He throws a softer ball which takes longer to get to the receiver. This results in DBs getting to the ball and everything is going to be contested.

I'm welcome to criticism, but please back it up with facts and not emotions.
i think it's waaaaaaay to early to know about either QB.. to me they both look like they belong..
but question for you.. did you see Aikman or Manning in their rookie years??
miami needs a few weapons around TUA and that will come but right now TUA and HIS talent is not a worry.
what worries me is we can't run the ball and we can't stop the run.
doesn't matter who our qb is if you can't do that
