Kid has shown almost no improvement and is miniature by NFL standards. Going to have a tough time making the roster with the two McCains here.

Absolutely hated this draft pick.

Glad he's healthy, or will be. But as a player, I'm not a fan of his at all

I'm one of the few people who think Will Davis could still be a solid corner, so I count this as good news. He needs to take a Jelani Jenkins type step forward, but he has the physical traits to play the position at a high level. While I wouldn't predict he will be a front line player (and he might not even make the team), I think it's still a tad early to write him off altogether.

Well said.

He's going to have a tough time making the team even though the talent at CB isn't all that great. He'll be fighting with the two McCains ,Bowman, and Lippett for a spot. Grimes may not be back next season and Taylor needs to prove himself. Next year CB will be a high priority again.

I don't think he will be on our team but he could be trade bait for a late round pick like a 6th or 7th round pick he's a good special team player and could be a decent #2-4 corner for another team

Never should have given up on Vontae. One of Ireland's biggest mistakes imo.

When you have the best 3 cone drill of any corner in your class (a rather important drill for db's) there's some hope.

Hmm ok well when you have below average long speed and quick acceleration and you tackle like a pansy odds arent good...if i was him id try to make my mark on specials but his tackling hurts there also

For a guy so fluid in the hips as you say he sure does give up pitch and catch in front of him all day long...guys with that kind of awareness and ball skills shouldnt be pitch and catch unless you got other holes physically...

And if you are gonna be pitch and catch you damn sure better tackle after and limit rac and he hasnt done it...falls off more guys than he does make tackles...another bad 3rd round pick to add to the stable of them thru the years

Too soft too slow doesnt compensate for deficiencies with hand use...

When you have the best 3 cone of anyone in your class that's a fact, not an opinion.

and that's all folks. One good drill doesn't make him a good player

Not sure a cone drill matters 3 years after he's drafted.

As a raw cornerback, that's also small, a great done drill is pretty much expected.

It helps though.

You're not a scout. They care about s*** like this.

I'm not saying he's gonna be great, just wouldn't write him off quite yet either.
