Dolphins CEO: Joe Philbin is our Head Coach

Because forced marriages do not win. Lame Philbin supporters point to Carolina, but no team in the past 20 years with a forced marriage has won the Super Bowl. Most fail.

OK.....I understand your point, but it is change, simply for the sake of change, which in my mind does more harm than good to a young team like ours.

I'm also guessing when you say "lame Philbin supporters", you are talking about anyone who doesn't agree with you......and by Carolina, you are talking about the fact that they have a new GM, kept the old coach and are now the number two seed in the NFC Playoffs.......but there is no way any team could be successful under that scenario.....none........oh wait!

Holy ****...you ARE blowing things up...just partially. That almost never works. Come on people.

I did give credit to Joe for being a good admin...I just did not call him stoic. lol. I think I gave him a better compliment than you did...lol.

I have no idea what this means.

I'm still waiting for someone to tell us what Joe does good as a coach.. Well coached teams don't lose after a bye at home to a scrub team. They don't lose after a long week to winless teams. They also don't collapse against division teams with brutal qbs

You are right…I should have said lame. I am wrong, but...

I am frustrated though when I bring the FACT not opinion that forced marriages do not work, people point to Carolina. That is such the exception with these forced relationships. People need to admit that.

I am shocked he has this much support on this site still after this year. Kind of crazy.

I will gladly admit that Carolina is not normal.....but to some extent, the Jets had the same thing happen to them this past year in terms of a new GM and an old coach. While the jury is still out on the Jets, that appears to be working, at least initially.

I am shocked he has this much support on this site still after this year. Kind of crazy.

Don't mistake a desire not to completely disrupt the organization with overwhelming support for Joe Philbin. Joe hasn't really proven anything yet and I think the jury is still out on him, but I also don't think that two years is enough time to adequately judge his performance.

Yup, haven't seen enough to say one way or the other, just like with Tannehill. With that said I would dump Philbin in a heartbeat for Jim Harbaugh though, just like I would dump Tannehill in a heartbeat for Aaron Rodgers.

Don't see how anybody with a clue could unequivocally say either Philbin or Tannehill are failures at this point in their careers. We've committed a lot time and resources into both of them to this point, we've already walked 10 miles so we might as well venture the extra mile down the path to see whats over that hill rather than turn back now.

I am too. The smart play would have been to fire them all in one glorious wielding of the sword. At this point though, I'm just hoping for a one year make or break audition for the new GM.

I am not sure what point you are trying to make.

Lol...I was told all Week 17 that the Jets sucked and Miami was to roll them, I am not sure what it is.

I will keep saying it....forced marriages do not work and Joe does nothing special as a HC

Just why is Joe so important to be forced with an interested GM? No sense.
