If that is actually the reason Edds was cut--because he was injured and therefore could not be "evaluated"---that is one of the most moronic excuses for a decision I have ever heard. On that basis, any young player who is injured on this team might as well pack his bags and leave.

I gave up on reason and hoping that this organization does the right things. They will do whatever they want, no matter how senseless. I'm going to try not to stress about things. Whatever.
 
Austin Spitler is still on this roster only to piss you Finheaven armchair general managers off.

Not that he's earned a spot on the roster through his hard work. Nope. It's only to make you guys mad.
 
terrible move...bring in ryan cook fine but cut aj edds and keep that trash spitler on the roster...TERRIBLE

Wow! Some people need to chill out... Edds is a 4th round pick, he's barely seen the field and probably wouldnt have seen much this season either... I dont like the move but its hardly something outrageous like some of you are making it out to be...
 
IDIOTS...aj edds coming off surgery hell on one leg is a more instinctual better ilb than austin spitler...unbelievable
 
and does bringing in ryan cook finally mean that ireland and sparanos dumb ***** are getting off their high horses and moving pouncey to left guard where he should be and incognito to right guard???

one can only hope...bunch of damn dopes

and all you guys who call us "armchair gms" i hope when this front office walks the plank you all walk it with them...know about as much as a my wife about this damn game...
 
I was looking for the Dolphins to make a big splash after cut down day .. and boy was this a surprise!!! I wonder how many waiver claims they put in on the players that were waived or cut? at least they got a big physical blocker in Yeatman and a serviceable backup O-lineman in Cook ... and now they have 2 or 3 pass catching TE's if you include Clay!!! But to be honest, i was expecting a Trade of 1 or more of the backup D-lineman, and more O-line help ... perhaps there is more to come, maybe after the 1st week of the season .. also keep in mind all the money they are gaining and saving against the salary cap, perhaps they are wising up to the future and all the signings of the young Miami players that is staring them in the face ... Langford, Soliai, Long, Davis, Smith, and perhaps Henne over the next few years ... just a thought!!!
 
I seriously wish people would stop bitching about a depth move. Spliter is probally gonna be cut asap anyways. Edds may be worse medically than we know and he wasnt all that great in the action he had in preseason.
 
If I'm not mistaken, the Vikings drafted Ryan Cook with the pick we sent them for Daunte Culpepper. It has finally come full circle...lol.

LMAO....Dude relax.....they havent played one game yet and you already quit.....oh and no one is moving anywhere on the OL a week before the Patriot game, they will go with what they have until it doesnt work (3-4 games at least)

You Arm chair GM go nuts over guys who woudn't see the field this yr and in some cases two yrs...

Stop falling in love with these players that are at the bottom of the roster, the FO has to make move based on who will be dressed on gameday sometimes that means letting a good prospect go, hopefullly Edds gets on the PS with Kearse so you guys can sleep at night......

Then put him on the PUP list or IR instead of letting him go.
