UPDATED (10:06 a.m.): The Dolphins have released Jamiyus Pittman, a defensive tackle who appeared in three games with two tackles his rookie year. He seems to be a candidate to revert to their practice squad, if he clears waivers.
The Dolphins have now cut four defensive tackles this week: Pittman, Akeem Spence, Joey Mbu and Corey Thomas. That leaves four on their roster: Christian Wilkins, Davon Godchaux, Vincent Taylor and Adolphus Washington.
