Dolphins cuts thread

Anyone think LeSean McCoy is worth a look? I think he’d be eager to go to a division rival but I haven’t kept an eye on him. Does he still have the juice?
Sure, acquire McCoy, trade him and Kiko to the Raiders, and watch their practices get "spirited" early and often!

You guys...

Needham is obviously a pet project.

My source informs the org "wasn't crazy about Carradine's

first name." Besides that -- the overwhelming benefit of the

doubt was with yutes!

I think part of it is that Needham had some good tape from last year's camp and undoubtedly showed something in practices where the public wasn't privy. For him it could be more of a matter of learning the defense rather than ability. So, given our tanking/rebuilding year, we're more open to taking a kid with ability that needs time to learn the system. Just my guess.
I think Needham just needs more experience and coaching. I figured PS. But at least this staff will teach this kid.

Have to remember were no longer pushing our DT DE into the backfield but somewhat protecting our linebackers - that's why we will be able to get away with it
Well this scheme does both, but your point is well taken, there is more protection of our LB's.

Yea right now there are 17 WR/TE/RB

Most teams carry roughly 12 or 13. Seems like where the last cuts will come from

Mctyer and Armstrong were guys that fit the Corners Vance Joseph wanted that Gase kept the idea going. In a defense that is all about playing smart both struggled when it came to picking up the coverage. I know Armstrong showed well on ST but with Aikens here and Lammons showing well there was no need to keep Armstrong... plus if we keep with the Oats theme you'll see a lot of starters on ST
And that anonymous coach of last year's team who offered his opinion on our roster … now looks 100% self-serving. His 'gem' Armstrong wasn't good enough on a talent-starved roster of rebuilding young players.
