Dolphins draft plans should consider two quarterback selections

They couldn’t stash Rosen on PS, he’d be claimed to quickly and front office would look incompetent for giving up 2nd And 5th round pick. My whole point is I think they should consider a late round pick or undrafted Qb in addition to who they draft early

Rosen is not going to ask for a trade this is his only year he gets to prove himself and put stuff on tape.

Rosen has chance in miami. If they dont draft top qb. Other than that he is on his way to his 3rd team in 3 yr.

Belichick. when he drafted Brady in the 6th round he kept 4 QBs on the roster for that year to hold on to Brady. Look it up.

Maybe we can trade Rosen for a 4th or 5th round pick to the BUCs. Let Brady teach him.

If we get TUA, agree we should double down on QBs by 4th round.

Miami has consistently being linked to Alabama Tua Tagovailoa, likely using the fifth-overall pick to add the quarterback. A player who, heading into the 2019 season, was considered a potential first-overall before injuries sidelined him. There are concerns over Tagovailoa’s hip being fully recovered from the dislocation and fracture he sustained during the season, as well as the history of injuries he has had, including ankle issues. The Dolphins could take Tagovailoa with the fifth pick with the plan to not play him at all this season, ensuring he is fully healthy for 2021 and the future.

Adding a player like Jalen Hurts or Jake Fromm could give Miami two chances at landing their franchise quarterback this year. It could give them the long-term backup they need if they do not think Rosen will be that player. Jordan Love and Jacob Eason could also be on Miami’s radar, but they likely will be selected prior to Miami wanting to make a second quarterback pick.

I Know this is not likely but if were to happen they would probably move Rosen during the draft or after, and go with Fitz as the number one and carry three QB's. I just found this an interesting thought.

No to Fromm or Hurts....there are better later round prospects

I've been saying this on here for months. They should absolutely do it. A first rounder and another in the middle rounds.

They Have ROSEN!!!
I agree that we really have lost faith in Rosen too early. We honestly dont have any clue what he would look like with a good offensive line. Hes also so young he can make huge improvements. He might be amazing already and we just dont know it yet. it's a long shot but it's as possible as that proposed 2nd QB we could hypothetically draft being the "guy"

You need to find a great QB or else a great defense or wr group doesn't matter. If we find a great qb we will be relevant for 15 years. Keep drafting qbs until you have one. I'm OK with 2 qbs this year. They are tradable anyway. Look what we have up for Rosen. We would have plenty of time to build around that great qb.

Great QB's take the majority of the cap so having all this great depth won't last. Elite qbs carry weak rosters and once the roster is decent you have a real chance to win it all. Only formula for long term success IMO.

If we draft Tua and he sits, I'm not opposed to drafting a qb again in round 1 next year. Worked out well for us last time we did that.

I dont mind that approach at all especially if Tua falls to 5... And Rosen isnt a reason you pass on anyone.

Still do not see how that can be so ground in stone with Rosens abilities and the circumstances regarding him
I saw plenty of broken down vids of him making good decisions, demonstrating a big arm and 1st around abilities
Being totally let down by drops or zero time to throw
Yes there was bad but he is only 22 years old
I would not hate If we built the talent and inserted him
Yeah I know I will be blasted but it's my honest opinion

In a QB desperate league, you're fooling yourself if you think Fromm or Hurts will be there in the 4th. And Jordan Love will not make it to the back end of the 1st.

In a copy cat league, too many teams will view Love as a Mahomes-type. And Hurts as a Wilson-type.

Love will go mid 1st.

Hurts in the 2nd.

Fromm in the late 2nd.

Hurts has too many intangibles to wait to the 4th. I keep saying some team will take a chance on him as a Franchise QB. Maybe a team with few picks or later picks trying to cultivate a hidden gem this year until they can get into a better draft position to possibly draft another in the future.

I think the Patriots and Saints are hiding in the weeds for QBs. I wouldn't discount the Raiders either.

I think 2 of those teams will come out with QBs in the first 2 rounds.

Jordan Love to Saints or Patriots makes for just the type of move that would rattle the draft.

i guess we could double up at QB with one of those 6th or 7th rounders. might as well swing for the fences with these late picks and just draft for potential

My thinking is that if the QB talent in this draft is very good as compared to other years, then you take the 2nd QB with a mid round pick.
I'm not up to date with the comparisons this year, so I will trust the team will make the right decision.
