Dolphins' draft Rumor: Miami locked in on RT at 19

Wait until Seahawks start taking Ireland's draft recommendations across the board.

Then you'll never see then in a Super Bowl in a decade.

LD

p.s. And btw, I guess you were sad to see Sparano go because the Jets hired him as soon as Miami fired him, lol. Makes as much sense as pretending Ireland had a clue just because he got hired, lol. This is an incestuous league, in case you haven't noticed. Rather hire a washed up idiot than up and coming talent. It's not WHAT you know (getting hired on staff) all the time. More like who you know.

Comparing the Jets organization to a SB winning team is a reach.

The Seahawks built their team in the mold of a Parcells type team, and won without regard to todays fashion statement.
You can mock and make fun of the issue. But SEA got something no Phin fan has, seen in 4 decades.

So enjoy your high horse. While SEA fans and organization enjoy winning.

I was talking about it with my friends the other day...I think Ireland was "brought on" by the Seahawks to do 1 thing. Look for trade partners either up or down during the draft process, and allow the FO to focus on players. He is simply there to to see what options he can give the Seahawks in position trading....JMO

Your reaching because of your own bias.

Difference is....the Seahawks are fantastic at drafting...

so you say it's defense huh...lay it on me what on d that will play enough snaps in 2014 players you expect to validate that top 20 pick if d is the route...i frankly don't see many options that would come in from the get go and play at least 60 percent of the snaps

I think Mosley or Pryor could get 60% of the snaps. In fact, whoever plays behind Delmas will likely get 60% of the snaps regardless of draft status.

Short yardage RB? Short yardage? If we draft this 1-5 its reason to cry. You know what else can get you short yardage and just so happens to be our most dire need? Offensive line.

QB? Why? Thats a waste of a pick. Moore's contract? Not enough reason to miss a potential contributor on special teams, WR, etc. Consider the odds of a QB impressing in camp and seeing the field as opposed to other positions. You get an Olineman and all of sudden you hit a jackpot, diamond in the rough mid round starter or hit on a mighta gone undrafted ala Welker at WR. A QB is a waste.

those would probably be the choices but i don't know that pryor makes sense as a free safety...more strong

Why would they get 60% of the snaps?

i tell ya one thing...deone bucannon may be the fit...he's almost as fluid as ha ha clinton dix just a tick less fluid and i think coyle would love that size and playmaking...but that's more pick 50 value or a trade down

very impressed with bucannons hips in combine drills

Why would they get 60% of the snaps?

Because they are better. And I'd bet money that Delmas misses games because of his knees. Who comes in when Delmas is out? Jimmy Wilson? Get ready to be burned when that happens.

As far as Pryor is concerned, people have him pegged a SS, but he has the speed and range to cover too - and Coyle likes his safeties to be interchangeable, so I think Pryor would be an great fit.

i don't agree with pryor has the range...but yeah coyle likes interchangeable safeties...i used the 60 percent of snaps thing cause well even a nickle corner sees that much run...and well teams are gonna force us into nickle a lot to exploit our run defense...although they may not have to as much with a space eater like solia gone

That thread also says Hartline is on the trading block because Hickey doesn't like money sunk into #2 wideouts and would rather fill that spot with a draftee.

Your reaching because of your own bias.

I'm not reaching...and I'm not claiming it as fact either.

You're reaching to try and make a point (or take a dig at another member) if you think a successful, and young organization that just came off a Superbowl win would bring in an ex-gm with an awful drafting history to come in and guide their organization on how to draft and evaluate players. Check yourself brotha.

I think we have the perfect play with a lead type defense. Sure you can run on us. But we get after the QB and can intercept. If we improve the offense and can play ahead. The defense looks even better and i think it's already a good defense

makes sense...you get leads you can unleash pinned ears pass rush and not worry about the run as much...that said i would disagree with you that the defense is all that good...a pass rush boost from dion jordan this year would really help though
