Dolphins first wave of cuts

Binns seemed like a guy who would be favored to make this team as a #5 or #6 option just based off his height and ability as a redzone threat.

Then again Brandon Gibson was a pretty darn good redzone threat last year so I think Miami must feel comfortable with the options they already have, even if they don't have that "ideal frame" as a redzone target.

It was always on the cards when Binns wasn't getting many reps in the games and Kevin Cone was - even in practice there were a number of instances [per all the tweets] where Cone was getting passes from Tannehill and there wasn't the same volume of reports re Binns - yes I know it's about who's open and all that, but... when it comes to QB's and WR's as a former QB - when you have a relationship with a Receiver - you have confidence and you'll go to him.

I for one have an outside shot at Cone making the team - dare I say it the'll keep 7 WR's - unlikely - but I like what he brings and don't think he'll hang around on the PS - he's in the mould [albeit bigger] of a Landry/Gibson and Matthews. I see a 'type' coming into the WR corps. One that I like. If only he had of gotten that second foot down early in the preseason [can't recall the game - perhaps Atlanta] then he may have gotten more work.

Off load the expensive ones next year and go with the kids whom you already have in the fold - it's just a matter of if you can keep them

Can anyone honestly name a single memorable play from Daniel Thomas outside of he Pitt game last year?

If I go back in my Dolphins memory bank it's almost as if he was never here at all because I can't remember anything he ever did...

A single memorable good play? Because I can think of a few bad ones. The Texans game where he got decked like Joe Frazier fighting George Foreman comes to mind.

SMACK. Fumble. Knees buckle. Crumples in a heap.

3rd-and-1 stretch play to Daniel Thomas is pretty memorable. Sherman called it often enough, so it would be pretty hard to forget...

I think I've gone through some 12 Step program with Daniel Thomas. Because at this point, the only question I have unanswered is why there is not at least 1 player on the street that can do incrementally more than DT? It's almost as if he has naked pictures of Philbin and Ireland together.

If Darkwa and/or Williams are cut in favor of Thomas, i'll know we have absolutely no ability to evaluate RBs. In every other situation in life, you can flush a turd.

I laughed out loud, then got pissed all over again when I read this. That Ducking Fummy!

DT's best games as a Dolphin were his first two. Haven't seen that guy since.

Cone has the advantage of being very good on special teams and I think it's between him or Williams for the last WR spot.

please be DT,PW .
i think these guys have some real balls look what they did with Egnew
