Who'd probably be better in short yardage than Daniel Thomas.

Not really upset about Lynch and Gillislee being put on IR. Both were probably going to have a tough time making the 53 and at least this gives the Dolphins the chance to bring them back next year to camp.

Brackett was hurt so think that killed any chance for him..Francis on injured list is why that line signing yesterday probably.

Also if aj Francis is for the year ir Miami has a major 4th dt to fill...unless they are gonna count on Anthony Johnson learning to play with consistency over time...

Francis/Gillislee and Lynch are all guys that could contribute next year. Gill looked improved before getting dinged, Francis is a solid player at a position that's deep and had no injuries in the preseason. And Lynch is a rook to work with.

Good teams have been stashing guys on IR that wouldn't stick on the PS for years.....bout damn time we started doing it more. Rob Ninkovich being in NE because we were deep at DE still kills me.

According to Omar its for the year hoops..also said exactly what you said about need for another DT or counting on Johnson.

Well, at least we don't lose Francis and Lynch to some poachers. I feel good knowing there are still Phins.

I'm bummed over Larsen, but, then again, I like underdogs so I knew the odds were slim.

My other "dark horse" candidate Johnson is still alive!

With Brackett waived and Lynch on IR, looking more likely that Hoskins is going to make it. Possible they hold on to Miller and just roll with 3 TEs, but I'm hoping that is not the case.
