Jordan is never going to be a 43 backer. We missed Koa that's for sure. Dansby was awful. He got shredded by every RB known to man. Burnett is the guy I miss he could cover the slot and had some big games for us. I feel like our d was just gassed last night and I really don't know why. Wheeler is not a great backer but he was forced to play strong side last night and he was again out of place

I don't agree with that statement at all. We went significant stretches without allowing a 100 yard performance against us. The problem is that Dansby and the rest of the linebackers would disappear for long stretches as we got shredded by QB's, both through the air and scrambling.
Ellerbe is that bad too? I knew the guy was invisible, should have realized that was why we keep getting gashed. I wonder if Channing Crowder can still play? How is the D line doing vs the run, specifically Odrick, Vernon, and Shelby? I guess Odrick did play a lot of DT and Vernon a lot of Right End last season because we were in the nickel so often anyway though.
I'll have to look at the tape, but I think Wheeler played where he has always played as in tight end side when we are in over and the opposite side in the under defense. Basically always behind the 3 technique DE.

Dansby is average at best? You haven't watched many of his games this year. He is having a career year. He is 11th in tackles, has 3 sacks, 13 pass defense 13...got that 13? For a linebacker that is fantastic. He also has an INT, a forced fumble and a recovery.
Average at best my ass. He was average at best here because our staff sucks.
