I’m saying over the course of a NFL career a QB needs to win 1 playoff game at a bare minimum in the modern NFL to be considered really good/great. So much to ask, I know.

Right. But winning a single playoff game in one’s career is a minimum qualification for a successful modern day QB. To think otherwise is truly delusional. This is Finheaven though after all…
The juggernaut who went by the name of Erik Kramer was a QB legend. Not for anything else, mind you, but he won a playoff game.

The bigger issue is, however, that winning playoff games requires more than a QB.
Do you think Steve Young would have been a HoF QB if he stayed on the bucs? Or Drew Brees (who will get in in the next couple of years) on the Chargers?
Tua needs to do more, but he has been in 1 stinking playoff game. If the guy would stop getting hurt we might actually see if he is the problem.
Btw, Tua and HoF shouldnt be mentioned in the same breath. Dude needs to produce, plain and simple.

That’s all well and good. Bottom line, like every other QB in the NFL in the past 50 years, if you don’t win a single playoff game you didn’t have a really good career. Plain and simple.
Of course Tua is the 1 exception in Super Bowl era NFL history

It takes a special kind of stupid to think that a QB who has a game with 120 yard passing while completing 40% of their throws with 0TD’s and 2INT’s, but the team wins in a playoff game, is somehow a good QB and that game makes it so.
