Dolphins hero nearly missed team’s call last week

Hey said he hasn't played corner since freshman year of college, but he has been playing nickel
 
Pretty wild that he is only listed as 5'11" 182 lbs. He looks and plays much bigger.

Yes, any practice squad player is fair game to be signed by another team. The only rule is that you have to sign them to your active roster. You can't do it and put them on your own practice squad. I am not sure whether you can send them down to your own PS later on, though.

If you want to put him on your practice squad, he would have to clear waivers first.
 
This is a great story, we have to get in the playoffs now.
 
I am thinking about sending a letter to Davie congratulating him and asking for his autograph. I just think he would be stoked that his brilliant plays meant so much to the fans.
