Dolphins hiring Joe Barry

Huge thread on that last year blasting that hire.
People are going to look too much into his lack of success as a DC, and the Packers defense was putrid in 2023 especially their run defense. However, we are hiring him as a positional coach and that’s where he’s been excellent.
I’d assume Camp is out. Probably taking the BC job.

When it says that he is the run game coordinator, I assume that's for our run game? Isn't that odd to coach both sides?

as an LB coach Barry is a fine hire and COULD be argued as an upgrade for the staff.

Sad. Understandable Campanile would leave.
He got two DC interviews, not sure what else he could ask for. If he "deserved" the job I'd like to think he'd have knocked that second interview out of the park. I wish him well in his next endeavor.
