Dolphins in the mix for James Jones WR

This would be GREAT. Similiar system. Familiarity. Big target.

Depends on the #s but I'm sure someone else will throw money at him..

PS whats the update on Gibson??

I'd really like us to grab Benjamin somehow...lol
 
Everybody complaining we don't have any big physical win WRs. Well he would be one. Him and Mathews would be our physical guys. I would also add a big TE. Our offense is gonna explode if we keep tannehill upright

If the deal is team friendly, I would be on board with getting James Jones. In this offense, you need several good receivers. We lost Gibson in the middle of
the season and it hurt. I was at the Jets game. When Hartline went down, the Fins were sunk. We need more playmakers. The season is long and guys get
hurt. WR cannot be neglected. We either pick up a vet or draft someone.
 
If....IF we are going after a WR.

I'd rather go after Nicks. Big body WR we are missing.
 
James Jones is a clear upgrade over Gibson or Matthews, however I am not interested in overpaying for a no. 3 reciever.
 
Would be a nice signing, with Gibson coming off an injury we could use a little more depth at the wide receiver position.
 
James Jones is a great WR! If we had Wallace, Jones, and Hartline......great receiver corp. If we kept Gibson (and he can stay healthy) even better in 4 Wide out sets.

He had over 800 yds receiving and averaged 13.8 yards a catch last year with 3 TDs in 14 games played. In 2012, he had 14 TDs.

This always amuses me on this board. As long as the salary cap remains healthy who cares what a player is paid, Dawn has shown she will not overpay anyone.

Gibson not expected back until at least training camp. Don't have a link sorry.

I agree. That word is so overused. Besides, it's not like we're going to pay him $10 mill.
