Good luck having him on the board, let alone drafting him. He's my favourite option, but it's not gonna happen.
 
I'm all in. He's a great pass blocker and good catching out the backfield. I still want tre mason in rnd2
 
I would take Moreno. MJD has lots of wear on those legs, Moreno is 3 years his junior. Blocks well, runs well, catches well. I would take MJD over Blount. Blount is only good at running. Suspected blocker and catcher.

That's why we have Miller, Thomas, Gillisie and Thigpen.. Blount force trauma in the redzone..
 
Weather vs best odds to win vs money.

I peg MJD as a money guy.

If it were i; im already in FL (the headache that is moving lessons), weather is outragously superb ( beach weather in December suck it non-Miamians), South Beach is the **** (ask Lebron)- id give Miami the home-state discount.

For all worried about MJD's last year/injuries: if we can build an adequate OL, I believe Miller will more than prove he is the feature back. For those of you that never saw Miller hit holes at the U, its hard for you to imagine this. Point being, behind merely a solid Oline, MJD should not be sharing the load with Miller. MJD would be spelling Miller and in on shotgun pass protection only.

I, too, would be worried about MJD's health as the featured back behind another shaky Oline. But the man has a sour taste in his mouth (motivation to show the league hes still legit) and at a doable price, we have to take a chance.

We certainly could use some of that. Blount's the guy I want as well with Moreno as my second choice. Jones was great but not sure how much is left.
 
Personally id like to get mjd then moreno to but mjd 1st it cost maybe 6-7mil and u have a reamped back field and I let go of maybe moore and thomas and are cap goes back to almosy the same then we sign a one moew o line and draft and save the rest 4 next year
 
At this point I think they will go with someone who can block and get those tough yards. The fact that we had alot of 3rd and 2's and i had to look away in disgust because I knew it wasn't going to work is very telling.
 
forget MJD we should be going after D Jax to open up our running game we have a back.
 
I like MJD a lot, but I think he goes elsewhere.
 
According to Barry Jackson we are still talking to Moreno so maybe the interest in Jones is just to let him know there are other options for us.

### Three days after hosting him on a visit, the Dolphins remain interested in signing free agent running back Knowshon Moreno, according to a league source. The Dolphins and his agent have continued discussions since his visit on Friday.

Moreno has interest in Miami. The Dolphins believe he would be an upgrade over Daniel Thomas. But whether they can agree to terms financially remains to be seen.

Even beyond running back, the Dolphins aren’t necessarily done in free agency. They will continue to monitor the market for guards and other positions. Don’t rule out adding a linebacker; it was confirmed that Miami did make a good offer to D’Qwell Jackson before he signed with Indianapolis.

The Dolphins have signed every free agent who has visited except Jackson and, as of yet, Moreno (though that obviously might change).

MJD might be like Ladannian Tomlinson when he joined the Jets. May have 2 good yrs left and would be a nice option out of the backfield. I like it better then Moreno
 
I want a veteran RB. Moreno and MJD fit the bill.

The Dolphins were pathetic - we were 8 and 8. And the year before that 7 and 9. And the year before that we sucked...

So you know what Ross - you bought this blessed heap of garbage of a team - go spend your damn filthy rich $$$ and help make us respectable.


I do not even know what to do with myself in response to comments like - he's injury prone and he costs too much...

Ross needs to take the risk for us - for all us fans out here killing ourselves - aging ourselves - losing years of our lives over this mediocre hot pile of garbage we call a professional franchise.

Sign MJD and Moreno for back up - go trade for Desean Jackson - Ross can sell his grandchildren for some offensive lineman for all I care.

Make this team better for real - for the life of me what the hell good is some 1/2 measure. The 49ers have beaten us in a Superbowl - won 3 more - sucked and then gotten back to the superbowl - all in the time it takes us to spin around in 4 and 12 land. I'm sick of it!!!

People on this remind me of me talking to my wife when we are having budget discussions on kids summer camp - or when the car dies and we have to buy a new or used car - remember folks we have spent our blood sweat and tears - let this billionaire tycoon mogul go out and pay his pocket change to a possibly good running back so I do not have to watch Daniel Thomas ruin another Sunday and another season for me!!!

Figure out the salary cap - we have 19 million dollars - pay one or two of these guys and draft us a work horse to boot!
